Abstract: A timer processing method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, a first message sent by a network device, and starting or restarting a timer based on a scrambling identifier of the first message, wherein the timer is a timer used by the terminal device to switch from an active downlink BWP to a default downlink BWP, or is a timer used by the terminal device to activate a default downlink BWP and deactivate an active downlink BWP; or if an active BWP pair of the terminal device is not a default BWP pair, starting or restarting, by the terminal device, a timer based on a scrambling identifier of the first message, wherein the timer is a timer used by the terminal device to switch from the active BWP pair to the default BWP pair, or is a timer used by the terminal device to activate the default BWP pair.

The scheduling request configuration method includes: receiving, by a user equipment (UE), control signaling sent by a network device, where the control signaling is used to configure, for the UE, an SR configuration associated with at least one logical channel and at least two SR resource configurations associated with the SR configuration, and the SR resource configurations indicate physical resources used to signal an SR associated with the at least one logical channel; and signaling, by the UE based on a physical resource indicated by one of the at least two SR resource configurations, an SR associated with one of the at least one logical channel.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method, a communications device, and a network device. When a beam failure occurs in a secondary cell of the communications device, the communications device sends a beam failure recovery request to the network device by using a PUCCH or a MAC CE, and determines an active state time of DRX based on a status of the beam failure recovery request. The communications device may also determine a stopping time of an uplink retransmission timer based on a running status of a configured grant timer, where the DRX of the communications device is in an active state when the uplink retransmission timer works; and monitors a PDCCH when the DRX of the communications device is in the active state.

Abstract: This application discloses a path switching method that includes: sending, by a first terminal, a first message to a first network device, where the first message is used to request to switch a second terminal from an indirect connection path for communicating with the first network device by using the first terminal to a direct connection path for communicating with the first network device or a second network device, or the first message is used to request to release a link between the first terminal and the second terminal, and the first network device is different from the second network device; and releasing, by the first terminal, the link between the first terminal and the second terminal. With this solution, a relay terminal can trigger switching of a remote terminal from an indirect connection path to a direct connection path, to adapt to a relay scenario more flexibly.

Abstract: This application provides a pending SR cancellation method and an apparatus. In the method, when a specific condition is met, a terminal cancels a pending SR triggered by an uplink BSR, and when some other conditions are met, the terminal cancels a pending SR triggered by a sidelink BSR. In other words, the terminal may independently cancel the SR triggered by the uplink BSR and the SR triggered by the sidelink BSR. When canceling the SR triggered by the uplink BSR, the terminal may not cancel the SR triggered by the sidelink BSR, so that when sidelink data has a relatively high latency requirement.
