Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for one or more sidelink communications received from one or more other UEs. The UE may identify one or more sets of subcarriers of a HARQ feedback occasion for the HARQ feedback for the one or more sidelink communications. The UE may transmit, to the one or more other UEs and on a sidelink, the HARQ feedback for the one or more sidelink communications using the one or more sets of subcarriers of the HARQ feedback occasion. Abstract: To facilitate coexistence of a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided. An example method of a first wireless device operating based on a RAT includes receiving a sidelink resource reservation from a second wireless device based on a second RAT, the sidelink resource reservation indicating a first set of resources. The example method further includes determining whether to exclude, from a candidate resource set for the first RAT within a sidelink resource pool for the first RAT, resources that overlap with the set of reserved resources for the second RAT. The example method further includes transmitting a sidelink transmission using one or more sidelink transmission resources selected from the candidate resource set in the sidelink resource pool for the first RAT.

The method may also include transmitting an indication in a transmission occasion to at least one of the second UE or the third UE based at least in part on a prioritization of information for the transmission occasion, wherein the indication indicates that at least the first sidelink transmission from the second UE is scheduled contemporaneously with at least the second sidelink transmission from at least the third UE.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for low power channel sensing for pedestrian user equipments (P-UEs). A method that may be performed by a UE (e.g., such as a P-UE) includes determining a level of channel congestion for a channel during a first sensing duration. The method includes determining a second sensing duration and a transmission duration based on the level of channel congestion for the channel determined from the first sensing duration. The method includes sensing the channel for the second sensing duration. The method includes transmitting on the channel for the transmission duration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from another UE, a coordination message that includes resource information (e.g., a preference status) for communication resources. The UE receiving the coordination message may determine a status of one or more resources based on the resource information, an intended recipient of the coordination message (e.g., based on a destination identifier of the coordination message), or a communication connection associated with the one or more resources. The status may indicate that a respective resource of the one or more resources is available, reserved, preferred, or non-preferred, or some combination thereof. In some examples, the one or more resources may be for a sidelink connection or a unicast connection. The receiving UE may utilize the determined status to select one or more resources for a sidelink transmission.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for managing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer. An example method that may be performed by a first user equipment (UE) includes dropping, in response to a HARQ budget that is exceeded relative to a number of active HARQ processes, according to one or more rules, at least one of the transmissions or one or more transport blocks (TBs) associated with the at least one of the transmissions from being processed. The method further includes processing the remaining transmissions and taking one or more actions based on the processed remaining transmissions.

A device may determine a packet for transmission and determine whether to transmit a reservation signal prior to the transmission of the packet based in part on a condition. The condition may include, but is not limited to, a packet size, or a packet priority, or a combination thereof. According to the determination, the device may refrain from transmitting the reservation signal or allocate resources for the reservation signal from a same resource pool associated with the transmission of the packet or a dedicated resource pool according to a pre-reservation resource pattern.
