Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for determining whether a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) is to be transmitted, and a configuration for transmission of the CSI-RS on a wideband based on an outcome of a listen-before-talk (LBT) operation in multiple sub-bands of the wideband. In one aspect, a base station may transmit sub-band usage information indicating sub-band availability before the CSI-RS, thereby allowing a user equipment (UE) to determine whether the CSI-RS will be transmitted and, if so, on which sub-bands the CSI-RS will be transmitted. Furthermore, rate matching configurations are provided based on whether sub-band usage has been received, based on which sub-bands are available. Still further, power configurations and resource element selection criteria are provided for wideband CSI-RS and CSI feedback.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for group or one-shot acknowledgment (ACK) feedback reporting, in which feedback for a number of different downlink transmissions may be provided by a user equipment (UE) to a base station. A base station may trigger a one-shot feedback report that includes less than all of the ACK feedback that is available at the UE to provide in a report. The ACK feedback may include an indication of an ACK or a negative acknowledgement (NACK) along with information related to a data indicator associated with the downlink transmission. In some cases regular ACK feedback reports and one-shot feedback reports may be multiplexed and transmitted by a UE. Further, a last downlink transmission to be included in a one-shot feedback report may be determined based on a receipt time of scheduling information or an ACK feedback timeline.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related user multiplexing with discrete Fourier transform (DFT) precoded frequency interlaces are provided. A first wireless communication device identifies a first block-spreading code from a set of block-spreading codes associated with user multiplexing. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device using a frequency interlace in a frequency spectrum, a first communication signal including a first block of information symbols spread across a set of resource blocks (RBs) within the frequency interlace based on the first block-spreading code. The first communication signal is generated by block-spreading the first block of information symbols based on the first block-spreading code to produce a first block of spread information symbols, performing a DFT on the first block of spread information symbols, and mapping the first block of spread information symbols to the set of RBs.

The method generally includes receiving one or more uplink grants scheduling a plurality of transmission occasions for the UE. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive an indication of a set of starting offsets for an uplink communication, wherein the set of starting offsets includes at least one negative starting offset relative to a start of a slot or a mini-slot in which the uplink communication is configured to start; select a starting offset from the set of starting offsets; and transmit the uplink communication, wherein the uplink communication starts at a time indicated by the selected starting offset. Abstract: New radio (NR) shared spectrum (NR-SS) listen before talk (LBT) gap optimizations are disclosed in which an indication, such as the preemption indicator, may provide an indication of a communications gap, in which preemptive communications may occur, to a user equipment (UE) currently engaged in communications, whether the preemptive communications are to another UE or network node or through different signal channels. The gap and preemptive communication may be measured in full symbol lengths, sub-symbol lengths, or interlaces. The communication gap may provide sufficient resources for the preempting node to adequately obtain the shared channel via listen before talk (LBT) procedures, and for the original UE to resume communications after the gap. The communication gap may also be optimally configured in order to provide both the UE and preempting node as much communication resources as possible within the scheduled communication opportunities.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may be configured with one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations. A base station may transmit a first downlink control information (DCI) transmission to the UE that activates an SPS configuration, and the first DCI may indicate a non-numeric feedback timeline for reporting associated acknowledgment feedback. The base station may transmit a subsequent second DCI transmission that provides feedback resources, and the UE may receive the second DCI and identify timing and resources for SPS acknowledgment feedback based on the second DCI. The UE may then transmit the acknowledgment feedback for one or more SPS transmissions in the feedback resources that are indicated by the second DCI transmission.

Abstract: Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgement (ACK) feedback codebook enhancements are disclosed. A size of feedback codebook may be reduced explicitly or implicitly. For example, an indicator may be identified by a corresponding field of a downlink control message. In some aspects, the indicator may indicate that multiple Physical Downlink or Uplink Shared Channels (PDSCHs/PUSCHs) are actually scheduled during one or more slots of a window corresponding to the feedback codebook. Responsive to receiving the indicator, a device may refrain from reducing the size of the feedback codebook to exclude acknowledgement feedback for additional possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions of the slots of the window. In some aspects, a device identifies possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions that occur outside of one or more Channel Occupancy Times (COTs) of a window. The device may generate a reduced size feedback codebook by excluding the possible PDSCH/PUSCH occasions that occur outside of the COTs of the window.
