Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitting node may perform a directional listen-before-talk (LBT) using a sensing beam. The transmitting node may start a channel occupancy time (COT) after the directional LBT based at least in part on one of a COT claiming signal or a time stamp. The transmitting node may perform, to a receiving node, one or more transmissions during the COT using one or more transmit beams that are included in the sensing beam. Abstract: Aspects relate to beam management reports that enable selection of best antenna panel and beam combinations for uplink transmissions from a user equipment (UE) when one or more antenna panels of the UE are subject to a maximum permissible exposure (MPE) limit. The UE receives a reference signal at a plurality of antenna panels, wherein the reference signal is received in different beams on each of the plurality of antenna panels. The UE determines N beams providing highest measured strengths of the reference signal on at least one of the plurality of antenna panels, wherein the MPE limit is to be applied to the at least one of the plurality of antenna panels for uplink transmissions. The UE transmits a beam management report including reduced highest measured strengths of the reference signal in the N beams to account for the MPE limit.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and base station may be configured to implementing trigger-based joint TX-RX sensing for channel access. In some aspects, the UE may monitor, via a receiver, for one or more transmissions from a first base station, detect, during the monitoring, interference associated with a pre-grant communication, the pre-grant communication associated with a future communication between a second base station a second user equipment, and transmit, via a transmitter, a reservation communication to the second base station in response to the pre-grant communication. In some aspects, the UE may receive the one or more communications from the first base station, without interference from the second base station, based on transmitting the reservation communication.

Abstract: Aspects are provided that allow a base station to use visual information of interfering UEs for optimizing shared channel access and beam and interference management and tracking. The base station may obtain visual information of a UE. The base station may then access a shared channel to communicate with the UE based on the visual information. After accessing the shared channel, the base station may communicate with the UE over the shared channel using one or more beams based on the visual information. Efficient channel access and communication in mmW environments may thereby be achieved.
