Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, information that configures multiple random access channel (RACH) partitions, wherein the multiple RACH partitions are each associated with a respective combination of one or more RACH features. The UE may select, from the multiple RACH partitions, a RACH partition based at least in part on the UE satisfying one or more criteria for the combination of one or more RACH features associated with the RACH partition. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a preamble on physical RACH (PRACH) resources associated with the RACH partition to initiate a RACH procedure supporting the combination of one or more RACH features associated with the RACH partition. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback skipping for user equipment (UE)-initiated transmissions. A UE configured for extended reality (XR) operations and an SPS configuration including a plurality of SPS occasions, each SPS occasion configured with at least one downlink resource and at least one uplink resource, collects pose information related to at least one SPS occasion. The UE determines, based on the pose information, to skip at least one SPS occasion. The UE sends an indication of the determination to skip the at least one SPS occasion to a base station. The indication is transmitted in a preconfigured uplink resource or may be piggyback an uplink transmission. The base station may reallocate the resources configured for the at least one SPS occasion based on receiving the indication.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for encrypting paging information transmitted to a user equipment (UE) in a paging message. In one aspect, a base station (BS) encrypts paging information and transmits a paging message to one of a UE or another BS for transmission to the UE. The paging message includes the encrypted paging information. A UE receives the paging message from a BS including the encrypted paging information. The UE decrypts the encrypted paging information to identify paging information, and determines whether to communicate with the BS based on the paging information. The paging information may be encrypted and the encrypted paging information decrypted based on information configured or obtained during at least one of a registration procedure or a radio access network (RAN)-based Notification Area Update (RNAU). Confidentiality of paging information in paging messages may thereby be improved.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a master node (MN) may determine to reconfigure a user equipment (UE) from an existing configuration to a full configuration for a dual connectivity (DC) mode. To perform the reconfiguration, the MN may transmit a signal (e.g., a modification request message) indicating the full configuration to a secondary node (SN). The SN may identify the full configuration reconfiguration triggered at the MN based on the signal. The SN may transmit an acknowledgment message to the MN including a secondary cell group (SCG) configuration for the SN complying with the full configuration. The MN may indicate this SCG configuration as part of the full configuration to the UE (e.g., in a radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration message). The UE may perform a reconfiguration process and communicate with the MN and the SN according to the full configuration.
