Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided, and relate to the field of communication technologies, to support a radio frequency identification RFID system in segmenting data based on a segmentation mechanism, simplify the segmentation mechanism, and reduce segmentation overheads. The method may be applied to the RFID system. A first protocol layer of a terminal device obtains first information that indicates a transport block size. If a size of a first data packet is greater than the transport block size, the first protocol layer segments the first data packet based on the transport block size, to obtain a plurality of first segmented data packets, and sends the plurality of first segmented data packets. The first data packet is a data packet received by the first protocol layer from a previous protocol layer. A size of the first segmented data packet is less than or equal to the transport block size.

Abstract: This application provides a resource configuration method and apparatus. A multiplexing type between a second functional unit and each of one or more antenna panels of a first functional unit is indicated to an IAB node, so that the IAB node obtains a resource configuration of an MT or a resource configuration of a DU based on the multiplexing type. This helps implement a resource configuration in the IAB node in a case of a plurality of antenna panels.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a backscatter communication method and a related apparatus. The method includes: An excitation device determines a first sequence, generates a first signal, and sends the first signal, where the first signal carries the first sequence; after receiving the first signal, a backscatter device modulates backscatter device data onto the received first signal to obtain a second signal, and backscatters the second signal, to implement first scrambling on the backscatter device data by using the first sequence; and a receiving device determines the first sequence, receives the second signal from the backscatter device, and demodulates the received second signal based on the first sequence, to obtain the backscatter device data carried on the second signal.

Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a paging method and an associated communication apparatus, medium, and chip. According to embodiments of this disclosure, an access network device sends information including an address of the access network device and an identifier of a terminal device to a core network device. The core network device determines an area for paging based on the address of the access network device, and sends a paging message including the identifier of the terminal device to the access network device. The access network device sends a radio access network paging message to the terminal device. In this manner, the area in which paging needs to be performed by the core network device can be reduced, thereby avoiding a waste of unnecessary paging resources.

Abstract: This application discloses a signal transmission method, including: obtaining, by a terminal device, to-be-transmitted data, uplink control information, and a demodulation reference signal; mapping the to-be-transmitted data, the uplink control information, and the demodulation reference signal to generate multiplexed symbols. The multiplexed symbols include DFT-s-OFDM symbols or OFDM symbols. N first multiplexed symbols are located on one side or two sides of a second multiplexed symbol. A location relationship between each of the N first multiplexed symbols and the second multiplexed symbol satisfies a mapping condition. N is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The first multiplexed symbol is a multiplexed symbol to which the uplink control information is mapped, and the second multiplexed symbol is a multiplexed symbol to which the demodulation reference signal is mapped.
