Abstract: A first device, such as a UE, receives from a second device, such as a network node, a model configuration indicative of a model condition of a wireless channel between the UE and the network node. The UE receives an indication of a channel tracking rate for tracking a variation in the wireless channel relative to the model configuration for the wireless channel and measures, at a timing based on a measurement rate indicated in the model configuration, a reference signal from the network node to measure a condition of the wireless channel between the UE and the network node. The UE tracks the variation in the wireless channel relative to the model configuration based on the channel tracking rate indicated to the UE.
