Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit feedback to a base station indicating phase values for sub-bands in a bandwidth part (BWP). The base station may use the phase feedback to perform precoding on a set of beams. To support a reduced payload overhead for the feedback, the UE may implement differential phase feedback. For example, the UE may divide the BWP into a number of sub-band groups and may generate, for each sub-band group of each beam, a first set of bits indicating an absolute phase value for a first sub-band of the sub-band group. The UE may additionally generate a second set of bits indicating differential phase values for the other sub-bands of each sub-band group. The UE may report the first and second sets of bits for the beams to the base station for precoding.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described which provide for efficient backhaul communications and identification of resources for cross-link interference (CLI) measurements and reporting. A common resource pool may be configured in which CLI measurements for resources within the resource pool have a common configuration. When providing information indicating resources that are to be measured for CLI, a bitmap that indicates resources within the common resource pool may be provided with CLI measurement configurations corresponding to the common resource pool configuration. Such a bitmap may be communicated via backhaul connections between neighboring base stations when initiating a CLI measurement. Various described techniques also provide for common configuration for CLI measurements, provide for efficient reporting of CLI measurements, and provide for accurate representation of CLI based on measurements at a victim UE.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may start a timer or counter in connection with failing to transmit a feedback message at a time for which the feedback message is scheduled for transmission. The UE may defer transmission of the feedback message for one or more attempts at transmitting the feedback message. The UE may perform one of: transmitting the feedback message before expiration of the timer or before the counter satisfying a count threshold, or discarding the feedback message after expiration of the timer or in connection with the counter satisfying the count threshold. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may adjust a transmission parameter, associated with an uplink transmission from the UE, such that a phase for the uplink transmission is continuous across symbols of the uplink transmission. Adjusting the transmission parameter includes at least one of: rate-matching, puncturing, or power scaling one or more of the symbols within the uplink transmission, modifying at least one of a modulation and coding scheme or a power associated with a downlink transmission to the UE, or a combination thereof. The UE may further transmit, to a base station, the uplink transmission based at least in part on adjusting the transmission parameter. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a first node (e.g., a UE or a BS) performs a channel response measurement on a reference signal for positioning (e.g., UL reference signal such as SRS for positioning, or a DL PRS). The first node determines, for each of a plurality of peaks detected within the channel response measurement, peak-specific information comprising at least peak magnitude data that is based on a peak magnitude relative to a reference value. The first node reports the peak-specific information for the plurality of peaks to a second node (e.g., a BS, UE, or LMF). The second node receives the peak-specific information, and determines a positioning estimate for a UE based on the peak-specific information.
