Abstract:
Embodiments include a device, apparatus, and a method. In an embodiment, an apparatus includes a first processor operable to execute a program. The apparatus also includes an information store configured by an execution-based optimization profile, the execution-based optimization profile usable in an execution of the program and that was created utilizing data collected during a runtime execution of the program by a second processor and transparent to software executing on the second processor. The apparatus further includes an execution-optimization circuit operable to alter an execution of the program by the first processor in response to the execution-based optimization profile.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of methods and systems for improving and enhancing vision are disclosed. Adjustable lenses or optical systems may be used to provide adaptive vision modification. In some embodiments, vision modification may be responsive to the current state of the user's visual system. Certain embodiments provide correction of the subject's near and far vision. Other embodiments provide enhancement of vision beyond the physiological ranges of focal length or magnification.

Abstract:
A head-worn video display includes a compact light source including at least two laser diodes. A MEMS scanner scans a composite beam from the two light sources across a viewing screen. The viewing screen is operable to diffuse light from one laser diode and convert light from a second laser to a different wavelength. Light from the viewing screen is shaped for viewing by a viewer's eye.
