    Abstract: According to one configuration, a multi-wireless communication system includes communication management hardware disposed in a first wireless network. The communication management hardware provides a mobile communication device first wireless access via a first wireless network in accordance with first subscriber identity information. The communication management hardware detects that the mobile communication device has second wireless access to a second wireless network in accordance with second subscriber identity information. To determine a location of the mobile communication device, the communication management hardware implements a location management function in the first wireless network. The location management function can be configured to produce the location information to include timing information associated with wireless communication between the second wireless network and the mobile communication device. The communication management hardware uses the timing information to determine the location of the mobile communication device.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for triggering measurements before the completion of connection resumption are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for performing measurements where a current Radio Resource Control (RRC) status is: IDLE or INACTIVE. The method includes monitoring for a potential reception of a downlink message in a cell that the wireless device is camping on; detecting, based upon the reception of the downlink message, information regarding performing measurements; performing measurements based on the information regarding performing the measurements; and reporting the measurement results. In some embodiments, the message is a paging message or a message multiplexed with the paging message. In this way, latency might be reduced to start performing measurements. This early availability of measurements at the target cell might increase the speed at which the wireless device acquires wireless connections such as Carrier Aggregation (CA) or Dual Connectivity (DC) connections.

    Abstract: A battery monitoring apparatus includes a battery ECU, a plurality of voltage monitors, and a wireless device. The wireless device contains a main unit disposed to the battery ECU and sub units disposed to the corresponding voltage monitors. In response to establishment of communication connection of wireless communication between the main unit and the sub units, the main unit wirelessly transmits a command by the battery ECU to the sub units, and the sub units wirelessly transmit voltage information detected by the voltage monitors to the main unit. The wireless device acquires voltage monitor information prior to establishment of initial communication connection, and establishes communication connection based on the voltage monitor information. The battery ECU or each voltage monitor is provided with a storage unit configured to store voltage monitor information. At re-connection, the wireless device performs communication re-connection using the voltage monitor information stored in the storage unit.
