Abstract:
Provided is a shaft member for a fluid dynamic bearing device, which is excellent in wear resistance and which can exert a high dynamic pressure effect. A shaft material (11) is rolled to form a recess (7) for causing a dynamic pressure effect of a lubricating oil in a radial bearing clearance (6). In this case, in a surface layer portion (14) of the recess (7) to be formed in an outer peripheral surface (11a) of the shaft material (11), a first hardened layer (14a) is formed by rolling. At the same time, also in a surface layer portion (15) of a surrounding region (8) of the recess (7), a first hardened layer (15a) is formed by rolling at a partial region thereof. After the recess (7) is formed by the rolling, barreling is applied to the shaft material (11). As a result, an outermost surface layer portion of the surface layer portion (15) is formed with a second hardened layer (15b) by the barreling. A hardness of the second hardened layer (15b) formed in the surrounding region (8) is higher by 50 Hv or more and 200 Hv or less than that of the first hardened layer (14a) formed in the recess (7).
Abstract:
An imager for capturing an image is provided having a face detector, a mouth detector, a sound detector, and a subject detector. The face detector detects a face in an image. The mouth detector detects the state of a mouth that is on the face detected by the face detector. The sound detector detects the ambient sound of the imager. The subject detector determines which face is the main subject on the basis of the state of its mouth at the time that the sound detector detects ambient sound.
Abstract:
An optical waveguide is produced by using a polymer obtained by using a silsesquioxane derivative represented by the formula (1-0). In the formula (1-0), R0 independently represents hydrogen, alkyl having 1 to 40 carbon atoms in which optional hydrogen may be replaced by fluorine and optional —CH2— may optionally be replaced by —O—, —CH═CH—, cycloalkylene, or cycloalkenylene, aryl in which optional hydrogen may optionally be replaced by halogen, or with alkyl having 1 to 20 carbon atoms whereby optional hydrogen may be replaced by fluorine and optional —CH2— may be replaced by —O—, —CH═CH—, cycloalkylene, or phenylene, or arylalkyl in which optional hydrogen in the aryl may be replaced by halogen or alkyl having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and hydrogen in the alkylene of the arylalkyl may be replaced by fluorine, and optional —CH2— in the alkylene of the arylalkyl may be replaced by —O—, —CH═CH—, or cycloalkylene, and Y is a group represented by the formula (a) or (b):
Abstract:
A compiler apparatus enables description of a particular hardware module in the existing programming language, although the description has not been possible in hardware designing to input programming language. In the header file 24, a particular hardware indescribable in programming language is defined. And the compiler apparatus includes a parser unit 30 analyzing syntax of source program 22, an intermediate code converting unit 32 converting the syntactically analyzed source program 22 to an intermediate code and code generating unit 36 converting the intermediate code to the RTL description. The intermediate code converting unit 32 includes a detecting unit 40 detecting a particular hardware defined in the header file 24 out of the source program 22 and a replacing unit 42 replacing the detected particular hardware in the detecting unit 40 with the intermediate code corresponding to a particular hardware.
Abstract:
An ejector for a refrigerant cycle device includes a nozzle portion for decompressing and expanding refrigerant flowing therein, and a body portion which accommodates the nozzle portion to support the nozzle portion at a support portion. The body portion has a refrigerant suction port from which refrigerant is drawn by a high-speed refrigerant flow jetted from a nozzle outlet of the nozzle portion. The nozzle portion is located in the body portion to have an ejector refrigerant passage through which the refrigerant flows. In the ejector, the nozzle portion is supported in the body portion to have the following relationship of 0
Abstract:
According to the present invention, an image signal processor, comprising a receiver, a mixing block, and an adjustment block, is provided. The receiver receives first, second, and third color pixel signals which an imaging device outputs. The mixing block generates first, second, and third color mixed pixel signals. The first, second, and third color mixed pixel signals are generated by mixing the first, second, and third color pixel signals generated by all the first, second, and third color pixels occupying a space of which the area is a second predetermined area whose the center is in agreement with the center of the first, second, and third color mixed pixel areas, respectively. The adjustment block adjusts the signal levels of the first, second, and third color mixed pixel signals based on first, second, and third pixel numbers.
Abstract:
A compiler which improves the processing speed of a program execution without needlessly issuing an instruction that has a possibility of causing an interlock is targeted at a processor having an instruction that has a possibility of causing an interlock when the instruction is executed, the compiler causing a computer to function as: a loop structure transforming unit (186) which performs double looping transformation on an input program so that a loop whose iteration count is y is split off from a loop whose loop count is x and the loop whose iteration count is y is an inner loop whereas a loop whose iteration count is x/y is an outer loop; and an instruction optimum placing unit (187) which places an instruction that has a possibility of causing an interlock in the program on which the double looping transformation has been performed.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a polymer compound comprising a silsesquioxane skeleton represented by the formula (1) in its polymer main chain. In the formula (1), each of X and Y independently represents hydrogen or a monovalent organic group having 1 to 40 carbon atoms.
