    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network entity, demodulation reference signal (DMRS) capability information that indicates a number of orthogonal DMRS ports for DMRS communications. The UE may receive, from the network entity, information that is associated with a DMRS port mapping for the number of orthogonal DMRS ports and that indicates to restrict a resource allocation for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) to an integer that is a multiple of two for each contiguous physical resource block, to restrict a virtual resource block to physical resource block (VRB-to-PRB) mapping, or to restrict the number of orthogonal DMRS ports such that a legacy number of DMRS ports and an extended number of DMRS ports are not multiplexed in a same code division multiplexing (CDM) group.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource activation or deactivation within a resource set. In one aspect, a base station (BS) may transmit control signaling to a user equipment (UE) including an indication to switch an activity status of one or more CSI measurement resources within a CSI resource set from an activated state or a deactivated state to the other. The control signaling may include a bitmap indication for the activity status for the one or more CSI measurement resources or a CSI measurement resource identifier for each CSI measurement resource in an activated state. The UE may transmit a CSI report including information from measuring a channel state, a channel interference, or both for the one or more CSI measurement resources based on the activity status of each.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration for processing a data block into an unencoded uplink signal. The UE may determine pre-equalization parameters corresponding to the unencoded uplink signal based on the indication of the configuration. The UE may apply analog modulation and the pre-equalization parameters to the data block to form the unencoded uplink signal and transmit the unencoded uplink signal on overlapping time-frequency resources with one or more other UEs according to an over the air computation operation. The UE may determine a plurality of channel inversion coefficients based on the indication of the configuration for processing the data block into the unencoded uplink signal, measuring one or more reference signals, receiving an indication of an inversion granularity, receiving an inversion coefficient power threshold, or any combination thereof.

    Abstract: In some scenarios, SRS transmission over the full SRS bandwidth may be unnecessary and/or inefficient. Therefore, a need exists for approaches to SRS transmission over less than the full SRS bandwidth. Described herein are techniques and solutions of SRS transmission using only a portion of the full SRS bandwidth, or a partial SRS bandwidth. The present disclosure provides for SRS transmission using a partial SRS bandwidth through sounding patterns that use only the partial SRS bandwidth and/or using a partial SRS bandwidth through various SRS sequence generation configured for the partial SRS bandwidth. An apparatus receives an SRS configuration indicating a full SRS bandwidth; determines a frequency hopping pattern for SRS transmission based on the SRS configuration, and the frequency hopping pattern is limited to a partial SRS bandwidth less than the full SRS bandwidth; and transmits the SRS transmission to the base station based on the frequency hopping pattern.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for port selection for channel state feedback with analog feedforward. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes selecting one or more channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) ports, of a plurality of CSI-RS ports, for the UE to report CSI. The port selection includes selecting any of the plurality of CSI-RS ports for selecting CSI-RS based on a grouping of the plurality of CSI-RS ports. The UE determines a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) formed by a linear combination of the one or more selected CSI-RS ports. The UE computes at least wideband linear combination coefficients for the selected CSI-RS ports. The UE provides the selected one or more CSI-RS ports and the computed wideband linear combination coefficients to a base station (BS) in a CSI report.
