Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE via reflection by one or more passive devices, a first reference signal (RS) that is based at least in part on a shared first key that corresponds to a configuration of the one or more passive devices. The first UE may receive, from the second UE via reflection, a second RS that is based at least in part on the first key. The first UE may generate a second key based at least in part on a measurement of the second RS. The first UE may transmit a positioning reference signal that is based at least in part on the second key and that is associated with a measurement of a range between the first UE and the second UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a first user equipment (UE) includes receiving a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) message from a second UE. The method also includes periodically transmitting and receiving a radar signal to sense an environment of the first UE. The method includes estimating joint communication and radar side information based on the V2X message and the radar signal. The method further includes predicting a communication state between the first UE and the second UE based on the joint communication and radar side information. The method still further includes updating communication transmit parameters based on the communication state.

In some aspects, a transmitter node may predict a future state associated with a wireless channel at a future time instance using a machine learning model, wherein the future state is predicted based at least in part on one or more of weights associated with the machine learning model, a current state associated with the wireless channel, or one or more previous states associated with the wireless channel. The transmitter node may select one or more parameters for a transmission to occur at the future time instance based at least in part on the future state associated with the wireless channel. Abstract: Techniques described herein provide for identification of a mobile device that belongs to an observed pedestrian, by a vehicle. According to embodiments, a vehicle can receive a mobile device message including a first set of pedestrian-identifying features, and the vehicle can use vehicle sensor data to extract a second set of pedestrian-identifying features for an observed pedestrian. If the features match, the vehicle can determine that the observed pedestrian is in possession of the mobile device, and the vehicle can subsequently communicate with the mobile device as needed regarding the status of the pedestrian.

Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication within a network. The UE receives, from a radio access network (RAN) entity, one of an uplink indication or an uplink port identification associated with an uplink port. The uplink indication and the uplink port identification are associated with an uplink message. The UE also maps one of the uplink indication to a sidelink indication associated with a sidelink message or the uplink port identification to a sidelink port identification associated with a sidelink port and the sidelink message. The UE further superposition codes the uplink message and the sidelink message into a broadcast transmission based on one of (A) the uplink indication and the sidelink indication, or (B) the uplink port and the sidelink port. In addition, the UE transmits, to the RAN entity, the broadcast transmission.
