Abstract: A coordinated multi-access-point transmission method, where a first access point (AP) sends, to a second AP, transmission control information that carries link transmission direction information, and the first AP and the second AP pre-coordinate a transmission direction of a first link and a transmission direction of a second link, where concurrent transmission is performed on the first link and the second link. Further, the first AP completes data transmission on the first link based on the transmission control information, and the second AP completes data transmission on the second link based on the transmission control information.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application describe a communication method, a first station (STA), a second STA, and an access point (AP). One example method includes: setting, by a first station (STA), a basic service set (BSS) color to be used by a second STA in a device-to-device (D2D) transmission with the first STA, wherein the first STA sets the BSS color to be a first color that is preconfigured for D2D transmission, wherein the first color is different from a second color allocated by an access point (AP) associated with the first STA for transmission with the AP, and wherein the first color is used for D2D transmissions between the first STA and other STAs in addition to the first color being used for D2D transmission between the first STA and the second STA; generating, by the first STA, a data frame that comprises the BSS color that is the first color; and sending, by the first STA, the data frame to the second STA in the D2D transmission.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a method for determining a data buffer status, and an apparatus. The method includes: A first MLD receives first indication information from a second MLD, and determines, based on the first indication information and a correspondence between an association identifier of the first MLD and a data type supported by the first MLD, a buffer status of bufferable data that corresponds to the at least one data type and that is in the second MLD, where the first indication information is used to indicate the buffer status of the bufferable data. According to the embodiments of this application, a data buffer status in a data type dimension can be determined. The embodiments of this application may be applied to a wireless local area network system that supports a next-generation Wi-Fi EHT protocol of the IEEE 802.11, that is, the 802.11 protocol such as 802.11be.

Abstract: This application provides a radio frame sending method and apparatus, and a radio frame receiving method and apparatus. Abstract: This application provides methods and apparatus for sending feedback information. By binding a BAR-BA feedback manner, that is, first a request and then a feedback, when it is determined that data retransmission is performed by using a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) mechanism, duration of an acknowledgment operation performed by a data receive end on retransmitted data may be increased. Alternatively, the receive end estimates duration required for feeding back a receiving status of the retransmitted data, and feeds back the duration to a transmit end. The transmit end may therefore adaptively adjust duration of the retransmitted data based on a feedback capability of the receive end, to ensure that the feedback of the receive end on the receiving status of the retransmitted data is within a short inter-frame space (SIFS).

Abstract: This application is applicable to a multi-link group addressed traffic transmission method and an apparatus. A first access point (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) sends group addressed traffic indication information indicating whether each AP of other APs of the AP MLD has a group addressed traffic, so that a station (STA) can learn whether the multiple APs have a group addressed traffic. In this way, each STA of the STA MLD does not need to listen to each AP whether each AP has a group addressed traffic. This reduces power consumption of the STA MLD. This application may be applied to a wireless local area network system that supports an IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi EHT protocol, for example, 802.11 series protocols such as 802.11be.

Abstract: This application discloses a multi-link establishment method and a related device. A multi-link association response frame carries radio bitmap information, to indicate an AP allowed to be associated with a radio of a STA MLD or a link allowed to be established by using a radio of a STA MLD, so that the radio subsequently switches between different APs or links. The multi-link association response frame carries link establishment status information, to indicate a link establishment status of each link that the STA MLD requests to establish, so that multi-link establishment is more flexible. The multi-link association response frame carries reassociation information, to indicate whether each parameter in association configuration information is reserved, so that a problem that signaling overheads are relatively large due to a reassociation operation is avoided. It can be learned that, in the multi-link establishment method, the foregoing information is carried to improve multi-link establishment flexibility.
