    Abstract: A polar code encoding method and apparatus are provided, the method including obtaining a first sequence used to encode K to-be-encoded bits, where the first sequence comprises sequence numbers of N polar channels, where the sequence numbers of the N polar channels are arranged in the first sequence according to reliability of the N polar channels, where K is a positive integer, where N is a mother code length of a polar code, where N is a positive integer power of 2, and where K≤N, selecting sequence numbers of K polar channels from the first sequence in descending order of the reliability, and placing the to-be-encoded bits according to the selected sequence numbers of the K polar channels, and performing polar code encoding on the to-be-encoded bits.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for coding in a wireless communication network. A communication device interleave a first bit sequence to obtain a first interleaved sequence having sequence number starting with a sequence number of 0, wherein the first bit sequence comprises bits for indicating timing, wherein the bits for indicating timing comprises a set of bits for indicating synchronization signal block index (SSBI); wherein the set of bits for indicating SSBI are placed in positions indicated by sequence numbers of 2, 3 and 5 in the first interleaved sequence. The devices add d first CRC bits on the first interleaved sequence to obtain a second bit sequence, interleave on the second bit sequence according to an interleave pattern to obtain a second interleaved sequence, and polar encode the second interleaved sequence to obtain the encoded sequence.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a rate matching method and an apparatus. The method includes performing, by a sending apparatus, encoding using a polar code to obtain a first encoded sequence whose length is N. A sequence number of a polarization channel may range from 0 to N−1. The method includes determining, by the sending apparatus, P1 to-be-punctured bit positions. The method includes performing puncturing at the P1 bit positions in the first encoded sequence to obtain rate-matched encoded bits. The P1 to-be-punctured bit positions are bit positions corresponding to polarization channels 0 to PT1−1, PT1 to 3N/8−1, and/or N/2 to 5N/8−1, PT1 is a threshold of a quantity of to-be-punctured bit positions, and PT1≤N/4. The method includes sending the rate-matched encoded bits.

    Abstract: An uplink data transmission method and device are provided. The method includes: receiving, by a network device, a control symbol sent by a terminal device by using a control time-frequency resource, wherein the control symbol carries control information, wherein the control information indicates a data encoding scheme at the terminal device, wherein the control time-frequency resource belongs to a transmission resource that includes a data time-frequency resource, and wherein the control time-frequency resource and the data time-frequency resource are different; demodulating and decoding, at the network device, the control symbol to obtain the control information; and decoding, at the network device and according to the control information, a data symbol to obtain uplink data, wherein the data symbol is received from the terminal device by way of the data time-frequency resource.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for transmitting encoded information. A communication device obtains K bits of information, and generates a to-be-encoded sequence u1N, wherein N is a length of the sequence. The device encodes the sequence u1N in an encoding process, to obtain an output sequence, and transmits the output sequence. In the sequence u1N, each of the N bits corresponds to a subchannel, and each subchannel has a reliability. The K information bits, a quantity J of first-type auxiliary bits, and a quantity J′ of second-type auxiliary bits are placed in K′=K+J+J′ bit positions of the sequence u1N according to reliabilities of the subchannels. Since the positions of the information bits and the auxiliary bits are pre-determined and not affected by subsequent encoding and rate-matching, overheads of real-time reliability calculation are effectively reduced, time is saved, and delay is reduced.

    Abstract: This application provides a coding method and apparatus, and a device. The method includes: dividing, by a sending device, a subchannel location sequence number set into at least two mutually exclusive subsets based on an interleaving operation, where a subchannel location in each subset still belongs to the subset and does not belong to another subset after any quantity of interleaving operations are performed; determining, by the sending device, an information bit location set and a frozen bit location set of a to-be-coded polar polar code based on the at least two mutually exclusive subsets; and coding, by the sending device, the to-be-coded polar code based on the information bit location set and the frozen bit location set. The coding method and apparatus, and the device provided in this application can improve communication performance of polar coding.
