摘要: In some examples, a device can control one or more heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) components within a building and control a digital user interface. The device includes a dial, the digital user interface, and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to scroll, in response to detecting a set of user inputs to one or both of the digital user interface and the dial, through a sequence of carousel screens for display on the digital user interface and display, on the digital user interface after a period of time following a most recent user input of the set of user inputs, a default carousel screen of the sequence of carousel screens. Additionally, the processing circuitry is configured to display, on the digital user interface, an idle screen corresponding to the default carousel screen of the sequence of carousel screens.

摘要: Fan coil thermostats can provide energy savings by, for example, operating a fan coil system more efficiently. Fan coil systems employing such a fan coil thermostat may be more energy efficient. A fan coil system may include a fan coil that is configured for fluid communication with a source of heated fluid and/or a source of cooled fluid, a valve that controls fluid flow through the fan coil and a fan that blows air across the fan coil. The fan coil thermostat may include a controller that implements a control algorithm that calculates an error percentage value relating to a temperature difference between the current temperature and the temperature set point. The error percentage value may include a proportional term related to the temperature difference and an integral term related to the temperature difference. The controller may regulate the fan speed in accordance with the calculated error percentage.

The bridge device is connected to a plurality of sensor devices and includes a radio circuit configured to wirelessly communicate with the plurality of sensor devices over a wireless medium using an air-quality communication protocol; a transceiver configured to communicate with a remote server; a processing circuitry; a memory, the memory containing instructions that, when executed by the processing circuitry, configure the bridge device to: periodically discover the plurality of sensor devices connected to the bridge device; query each of the discovered senor devices to read at least one senor reading provided by each sensor device, the at least one senor reading is of at least an air-quality level in a vicinity of the sensor device; encapsulate the sensor readings from the plurality of sensor devices into a data frame; and send the data frame to the remote server.

摘要: A device information acquirer acquires device information of each electrical device of a plurality of electrical devices from a control apparatus. A device information display associates and displays on a screen an identifier, an expected installation location, and a device state for each electrical device based on the device information of each electrical device acquired by the device information acquirer. The device information acquirer acquires from the control apparatus the device state information of an electrical device of interest newly collected by the control apparatus after the electrical device installed at the expected installation location of the electrical device of interest is operated by the user. The device information display explicitly shows on the screen whether the device state of the electrical device has changed due to the operation by the user based on the device state information of the electrical device of interest acquired by the device information acquirer.

摘要: A self-contained, integrated, modular HVAC system includes a plurality of adaptive or interchangeable components or swappable modules interconnected to enable the modulation of total airflow and total cooling capacity (sensible plus latent) to meet variable loads and adjust a sensible heat ratio (SHR) to meet a variable latent ratio of a conditioned space. The components comprise one or more air inlet, damper, inlet damper, air filtration module, air purification module, air freshener module, dehumidifying module, cooling module, air bypass module, blower module, air outlet, I/O panel, and a control cabinet. The components have sensors and actuators that allows a programmable control system to coordinate diagnostics and operations of internal and external components of a refrigeration/heating cycle using various feedback control logics. The HVAC system allows users to remotely determine a chosen relative humidity (RH) set-point, airflow, and temperature of a conditioned space using wireless data communication devices.

The HVAC system may include HVAC components, sensors, and one or more register vents that may include vent dampers (e.g., electronically controllable vent dampers or manually operated vent dampers). Opening and closing of the vent dampers may facilitate creating zones or sub-zones in the HVAC system configuration. An HVAC control system may receive a request for conditioned air in one or more of the zones, determine a damper setting for at least one of the vent dampers, communicate the determined damper setting to a vent damper or user interface, determine which HVAC components should be active, if any, and/or provide controls signals to activate or keep active the HVAC components that are determined to be active.

摘要: An HVAC controller includes a touch-responsive display and a scheduling grid having one or more rows representing a 24 hour period of a day-of-week. A user selects an operation to be performed such as adding or deleting a scheduled event, such as a period of occupancy or non-occupancy. A visual representation of the available operations and the temporal regions subject to the available operations is presented. A user may then select the desired region on which to perform the operation, the operation is visually represented on the touch-responsive display, and the user indicates whether the operation should be saved or discarded. The operation may be applied to additional remote HVAC devices in a single operation.
