    Abstract: Provided are a data transmitting method, a data receiving method, a data transmitting device and a data receiving device. The data transmitting method comprises: modulating data in a first modulation manner to generate a first symbol stream; decomposing the first symbol stream into a pre-determined number of second symbol streams, each of which is modulated in a modulation manner with a modulation order lower than a modulation order of the first modulation manner; processing the pre-determined number of second symbol streams to generate a code-division-multiplexed data stream; and processing the code-division-multiplexed data stream to send the processed data stream. With the methods and the devices, reliability for data transmission can be improved.

    Abstract: A user device communicates with a base station in a narrowband radio communication system using a physical downlink control channel or a physical downlink shared channel that includes multiple resources of a predetermined unit in a time domain. The user device includes an acquirer that obtains a repetition number indicating a number of times each of the multiple resources is repeatedly and consecutively transmitted in the time domain, and a receiver that receives, from the base station, the physical downlink control channel or the physical downlink shared channel in which each of the multiple resources is consecutively repeated the number of times indicated by the repetition number.

    Abstract: A user terminal is disclosed including a receiver that receives a downlink signal that is transmitted in repetitions in narrow bands to which frequency hopping is applied, and a processor that specifies a pattern of the applied frequency hopping based on a starting index that indicates a first narrow band in the narrow bands and a frequency offset that is a shift in a frequency direction from the first narrow band. The processor causes the receiver to receive the downlink signal using the specified pattern. Each of the narrow bands is a part of a system band. The user terminal communicates using the narrow bands only. The downlink signal starts being allocated to the first narrow band.

    Abstract: Some techniques are disclosed for determining downlink control information for use in each cell in carrier aggregation using a FDD cell and a TDD cell together. One aspect of the present invention relates to user equipment, comprising: a transmission and reception unit configured to transmit and receive a radio channel to/from a base station via multiple cells configured for carrier aggregation in accordance with a frequency division duplex (FDD) mode and a time division duplex (TDD) mode; a cell management unit configured to manage the multiple cells; and a communication control unit configured to determine whether a duplex mode applied to a primary cell in the multiple cells is either the FDD mode or the TDD mode and receive and demodulate downlink control information compliant with the determined duplex mode for each carrier aggregation implemented cell.

    Abstract: A user terminal is disclosed that has a receiver that receives transmission acknowledgment information, in response to an uplink data channel in a narrow band in a system band, via a downlink control channel that is transmitted in a starting subframe of a predetermined cycle and a processor that controls retransmission of the uplink data channel based on the transmission acknowledgment information. Further, a radio base station is disclosed that communicates with a user terminal. The radio base station has a transmitter that transmits transmission acknowledgment information, in response to an uplink data channel in a narrow band in a system band, via a downlink control channel that is transmitted in a starting subframe of a predetermined cycle and a processor that controls transmission of the transmission acknowledgment information. The feedback timing for the transmission acknowledgment information is adjusted based on the starting subframe.
