Abstract: Proposed are a method and an apparatus for receiving an EHT PPDU in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a reception STA receives an EHT PPDU including an STF signal from a transmission STA through a 320 MHz band or a 160+160 MHz band. The reception STA decodes the EHT PPDU. The STF signal is generated on the basis of an EHT STF sequence for the 320 MHz band or the 160+160 MHz band. The EHT STF sequence for the 320 MHz band is a first sequence in which a preconfigured M sequence is repeated, and is defined as {M −1 −M −1 M −1 M 0 −M 1 −M 1 −M 1 M 0 −M 1 M 1 −M 1 −M 0 M −1 M −1 M −1 −M}*(1+j)/sqrt(2).

Abstract: One example according to the present specification relates to a method for identifying the format of a PPDU in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. A receiving STA may receive a first PPDU. The receiving STA may check at least one extra tone of at least one symbol of the first PPDU. The receiving STA may determine, on the basis of the at least one extra tone, the format of the first PPDU as a repeated PPDU format. Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for generating an STF signal usable in a wireless LAN system. The STF signal is included in a field used to improve AGC estimation of a MIMO transmission. A portion of the STF signal is used to transmit an uplink, and can be used for uplink MU PPDUs transmitted from a plurality of STAs. The STF signal that is disclosed, for example, is used for a 40 MHz band or an 80 MHz band, is desirably usable for the 40 MHz band, and can be generated based on a sequence in which a predetermined M sequence is repeated. The predetermined M sequence can be a binary sequence of which the length is 15 bits.
