摘要: A method for detecting soft shorts in an electrode assembly includes the following steps. First, the electrode assembly having at least one anode and at least one cathode is provided, a separator having an open porosity being inserted between each anode and cathode. Subsequently, the impedance of the electrode assembly is measured and the measured impedance is compared with a reference value. A soft short is detected if the measured impedance deviates from the reference value. The electrode assembly is not laminated, and the impedance is measured prior to the introduction of electrolyte and the installation of the electrode assembly in a galvanic cell are provided. A test stand for the method and a production line using the test stand are disclosed.

摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for impedance-based broken conductor detection in electric distribution systems. Upon the detection of a broken conductor, the affected overhead line will be de-energized before it hits the ground. An example method may include determining, during a first time period, a first impedance value measured by a first IED, and may further include determining, during a second time period that after the first time period, a second impedance value measured by the first IED. The method may further include determining a first ratio based on dividing a difference between the first impedance value and the second impedance value by the first impedance value, and may further include determining that the first ratio deviates from a threshold setpoint, and determining that a broken conductor condition occurs based on the first ratio deviating from the threshold setpoint.

摘要: Examples of determining electronic component authenticity via electronic signal signature measurement are discussed. Reference pin identifiers corresponding to pins of a known authentic electronic component are determined. Measurement values corresponding to characteristics of pins of an electronic component are obtained, and pin identifiers based on the measurement values are generated. Accordingly, an indication that the electronic component is authentic can be provided based at least in part on a comparison of the pin identifiers and the reference pin identifiers.

摘要: A method for impedance measurement of coupled AC transmission lines. The method includes measuring a zero-sequence impedance of a three-phase transmission line that are configured to transmit electric power from a first substation of a power system to a second substation of the power system. 摘要: A method for identifying a location of a fault in an electrical power distribution network that includes identifying an impedance of an electrical line between each pair of adjacent utility poles, measuring a voltage and a current of the power signal at a switching device during the fault, and estimating a voltage at each of the utility poles downstream of the switching device using the impedance of the electrical line between the utility poles and the measured voltage and current during the fault. The method calculates a reactive power value at each of the utility poles using the estimated voltages, where calculating a reactive power value includes compensating for distributed loads along the electrical line that consume reactive power during the fault, and determines the location of the fault based on where the reactive power goes to zero along the electrical line.

摘要: The present application relates to apparatus (400, 500) for measuring an impedance of an electrical load (300) that is configured to be coupled to a controlled current source (200). The apparatus (400, 500) comprises a first coupling node (402) configured to be coupled to a first terminal (302) of the load (300) and a second coupling node (404) configured to be coupled to a second terminal (304) of the load (300). The apparatus further comprises a transformer (406) having a primary winding (408) and a secondary winding (410) and a capacitance (412) connected in series between a first terminal (414) of the secondary winding (410) and the first coupling node (402). A second terminal (416) of the secondary winding (410) is connected to the second coupling node (404). The apparatus further comprises a processing unit (424) is configured to control an excitation signal that is applied to the primary winding (408) so as to cause a variation, corresponding to the excitation signal, in an input current of the load (300), measure the input current and an input voltage of the load (300), and, based on the measured input current and input voltage, determining the impedance of the load (300).
