Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for slot aggregation in new radio (NR) systems. A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving radio resource control (RRC) signaling providing a semi-static configuration for transmission and/or reception of a repeated transport block (TB) and/or a different TB in each of a plurality of aggregated slots. The UE transmits or receives the TBs in the plurality of aggregated slots based on the semi-static configuration. Another method is provided in which the UE transmits and/or receives a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) in each of a plurality of aggregated slots, each DMRS associated with a repeated TB or a different TB in the slot. The UE determines, based on received signaling, whether the DMRS use a same precoder or a different precoder and modulates and/or demodulates the TBs in the plurality of aggregated slots based on the determination.

In some aspects, a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) user equipment (UE) may communicate, using a first SIM, on a plurality of component carriers. The multi-SIM UE may select a first subset of component carriers from the plurality of component carriers based at least in part on a component carrier prioritization. The multi-SIM UE may identify an amount of memory available to a second SIM. The multi-SIM UE may tune away, based at least in part on the amount of memory available to the second SIM, from a second subset of component carriers The first subset of component carriers may be different from the second subset of component carriers. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to transition to communicating on a first bandwidth part from communicating on a second bandwidth part. In order to ensure that the UE is able to perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part, after transitioning to communicating on the first bandwidth part, the UE may be configured to perform receiver processing using reference signals received on the second bandwidth part. That is, for a configured period of time, before the UE is able to perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part using reference signals received on the first bandwidth part, the UE may perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part using reference signals received on the second bandwidth part.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparats relating to designs for the remaining minimum system information (RMSI) control resource set (CORESET) and the other system information (OSI) CORESET. In certain aspects, a wireless communication device (e.g., user equipment) is enabled to determine the location of Type0-PDCCH common search space CORESET and the OSI CORESET in the frequency and time domains based on the location of the synchronization signal block (SSB) transmissions in the frequency and time domains. Determining the location of the RMSI CORESET and the OSI CORESET frequency and time resources enables the UE to receive the RMSI CORESET and the OSI CORESET, respectively.
