Abstract: A new cell specific procedure and/or a mobility procedure may be defined to more efficiently support a network slice function in new radio access technology (NR), which is a part of a 5G communication system. In terms of a radio access network (RAN)-RAN interface, the cell specific procedure comprises that a first RAN node transmits a first indicator related with the slice support of the first RAN node to a second RAN node, and receives from the second RAN node a second indicator related with the slice support of the first RAN node. The mobility procedure comprises that a target RAN node transmits a path change request message including slice-related information to a core network (CN) node, and receives from the CN node a path change response message including at least one of a common control plane function (C-CPF) identifier (ID), a finally selected slice-related ID or U-Plane information.

Abstract: Provided is a method for a base station performing a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) session update in a wireless communication system, and a device supporting same. The base station may comprise: receiving, from a multi-cell coordination entity (MCE), a MBMS session update request message comprising a single-cell point-to-multipoint (SCPTM) transmission stop indication; and transmitting, to the MCE, a MBMS session update response message as a response to the MBMS session update request message.

Abstract: Provided are a method by which a base station controls the access of a terminal, and a device for supporting the same. The method comprises the steps of: receiving, from a core network, information on an RRC connection procedure in which access in an RRC inactive state is restricted; receiving a request for executing the RRC connection procedure from a terminal which is in the RRC inactive state; and transmitting, to the terminal, a message notifying that the requested execution of the RRC connection procedure has been restricted, when the RRC connection procedure requested from the terminal corresponds to the RRC connection procedure in which the access is restricted.

Abstract: Provided are a method for a base station to support single-cell point-to-multipoint (SCPTM) service continuity in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus supporting the same. The method may comprise the following steps performed by the base station: receiving, from a multi-cell coordination entity (MCE), an MBMS session start request message comprising a cell ID list; checking whether a requested MBMS resource is established; and transmitting, to a neighboring base station, MBMS bearer service information on a cell basis.

Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for transmitting a maximum stratum level in a wireless communication system. An evolved NodeB (eNB) or a home eNB (HeNB) having a global positioning system (GPS) constitutes a maximum stratum level indicating a maximum value of a hop capable of supporting radio interface based synchronization (RIBS) and transmits the constituted maximum stratum level to a small cell. Meanwhile, the small cell determines whether a stratum level is greater than the maximum stratum level, and transmits the maximum stratum level to the eNB or the HeNB having the GPS when the stratum level is greater than the maximum stratum level.
