Abstract:
This application discloses a radio resource measurement method, a radio resource selection method, and an apparatus. A terminal obtains a measurement result of a beam; and the terminal sends, to a network device, first indication information used to instruct to deactivate or delete a beam, where the beam satisfies a first quality condition. In addition, the terminal may further obtain a measurement result of the beam, and send, to the network device, second indication information used to instruct to activate or add the beam, to instruct the network device to activate or add a beam having relatively good communication quality, for communication with the terminal.

The method includes: sending, by UE, an uplink reference signal; measuring, by a TP in the hyper cell, the uplink reference signal sent by the UE; and updating, by a radio access network controller based on a measurement report from the TP, a TP set that provides a communications service for the UE. According to the embodiments of the present invention, UE load and difficulty in mobility management in a hotspot area are reduced.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for controlling transmit power of a user equipment, the method includes reducing a gain factor of a first-type channel of the UE when total uplink transmit power of the UE exceeds maximum allowed transmit power. The method further includes determining total uplink transmit power of the UE and if the total uplink transmit power of the UE exceeds the maximum allowed transmit power and the gain factor of the first-type channel is reduced to a preset gain factor threshold, reducing a gain factor of a second-type channel of the UE so that total uplink transmit power of the UE does not exceed the maximum allowed transmit power.
Abstract:
A resource allocation method and a base station which includes: acquiring, by the base station, channel state information (CSI) of a current scheduling timeslot; obtaining a compensation factor according to the CSI and a preset packet error ratio, where the compensation factor is a value corresponding to the preset packet error ratio in an inverse cumulative distribution function of a non-central chi-square random variable and a non-central parameter; replacing the CSI with the compensation factor, and determining a functional relationship between rate and power of sending data by the base station if a packet error ratio of the base station is less than or equal to the preset packet error ratio; and determining, according to the functional relationship and a generalized dynamic back pressure algorithm, the rate and total power of sending data by the base station, so as to minimize the total power of the base station.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and a base station for managing capacity of a wireless communication network, which relates to the field of wireless communications and is capable of saving energy while adjusting capacity of a wireless communication network of a base station. The present invention includes: checking total traffic of all overlay networks belonging to the base station; if the checked total traffic keeps being smaller than a preset load threshold, searching for and determining a first overlay network; maintaining normal work of a power amplifier of at least one antenna in each group of antennas in the first overlay network and turning off power amplifiers of one or more other antennas; and connecting the one or more other antennas to the power amplifiers maintaining normal work in the groups in which the one or more other antennas are located.
Abstract:
A cell search method and a communication apparatus, where the method includes a terminal device receiving first information useable by the terminal device to search for a terrestrial network (TN) neighboring cell. When the terminal device is not within a coverage area of a non-terrestrial network (NTN) cell or the terminal device is at an edge of the coverage area of the NTN cell, the terminal device searches for the TN neighboring cell based on the first information.
Abstract:
This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method may be applied to a terminal device. The method includes: sending first failure information to a second network device when a radio link between the terminal device and a first network device fails, where the first failure information includes first conditional handover configuration information; and receiving a first response message from the second network device, where the first response message includes first indication information or a cell identifier of a first cell. The first indication information indicates the terminal device to select a cell to access from a candidate cell configured based on the first conditional handover configuration information, and the first cell is a cell to which the terminal device is to be handed over and is a cell in the candidate cell configured based on the first conditional handover configuration information.
Abstract:
Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving first information from a first device, where the first information indicates N moments and location information of the first device at the N moments. The first device obtains second information, where the second information indicates a correspondence between the N moments and M area identifiers, or the second information indicates a correspondence between N locations and M area identifiers. According to the foregoing technical solution, the first device sends the location information of the first device at the N moments, so that the M area identifiers corresponding to the first device at the N moments or the M area identifiers corresponding to N pieces of location information can be obtained.
