    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and terminal devices for detecting a wake-up signal. A terminal device sends first information to a network device, where the first information indicates a reported gap, receives second information sent by the network device, and determines a configuration condition of a first gap and a configuration condition of a second gap based on the second information. The terminal device determines a target gap based on the reported gap, the configuration condition of the first gap, and the configuration condition of the second gap, and detects a wake-up signal at a detection position before a start position of the first paging opportunity in a paging time window, where the detection position is determined based on the target gap and maximum duration of the wake-up signal.

    Abstract: Example signal transmission methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes generating a first signal by a network device, where the first signal is used to indicate to a terminal device whether there is paging scheduling information on a first paging occasion. The network device determines a first resource based on at least one of a paging configuration parameter, a first parameter set, a terminal device identifier, or a terminal identification code. The network device sends the first signal to the terminal device on the first resource. The signal transmission methods, network device, and terminal device in the embodiments of this application enable the terminal device to determine, based on the first signal, whether to listen on a downlink control channel, reducing power consumption of the terminal device.

    Abstract: A communication method includes that, when a terminal device receives indication information used by a network device to indicate the terminal device to work on a non-dormant bandwidth part (BWP) in a secondary cell, the terminal device can determine a specific BWP on which the terminal device is to work, and perform a corresponding operation. A network device generates indication information, and sends the indication information to a terminal device, where the indication information is used to indicate the terminal device to work on a non-dormant BWP in a first secondary cell. Then, the terminal device enables, according to the indication information, the terminal device to work on a first BWP, where the first BWP is the non-dormant BWP in the first secondary cell.

    Abstract: A monitoring method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes transmitting, by a terminal device, first information based on a first repetition number, where the first repetition number is less than or equal to a second repetition number, and the second repetition number is a maximum repeat transmission number of the first information. The method also includes determining, by the terminal device, a scheduling end moment of the first information based on the second repetition number, where the scheduling end moment of the first information is a transmission end moment of the first information when the first information is transmitted based on the second repetition number. The method further includes starting or restarting, by the terminal device, a timer at the scheduling end moment of the first information, and monitoring a PDCCH search space before the timer expires or stops.
