    Abstract: Communication methods and apparatuses are provided in this disclosure. One method includes: receiving, by a terminal device at time slot n, first downlink control information comprising a minimum slot offset value, wherein the minimum slot offset value is to be applied by the terminal device at time slot n+K, where K is a positive integer; receiving, by the terminal device at a time after the time slot n and before the time slot n+K, second downlink control information comprising the minimum slot offset value; and determining, by the terminal device, to apply the minimum slot offset value at the time slot n+K.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method and apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium, to resolve a prior-art problem that data sending or data receiving of a terminal device is delayed. The method includes: if no monitoring occasion of a wake-up signal exists in a first time window, or a first time window includes no monitoring occasion of a wake-up signal in at least one search space set configured for a terminal device, monitoring a physical downlink control channel within an on duration time period of a discontinuous reception DRX state, where the first time window is a time window for monitoring the wake-up signal, the wake-up signal indicates the terminal device to monitor the physical downlink control channel within the on duration time period, and the first time window is prior to the on duration time period.

    Abstract: A message transmission method is provided. User equipment may receive a power saving message from a network device, where the power saving message carries indication information of a short message, and the short message includes at least one of the following: a public warning system notification or system information modification information. Then, the user equipment obtains the short message from the power saving message. In this way, when the user equipment is in a connected state, the user equipment may obtain the short message by using the power saving message, for example, a PoSS, instead of by monitoring a paging PDCCH; and when the UE is in a sleep state, the UE is not woken up to monitor the paging PDCCH. This reduces power consumption of the user equipment in the connected state.

    Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a communication method and apparatus. The method includes a terminal device sending first indication information to a network device, where the first indication information indicates that a switching delay between a first bandwidth part BWP and a second BWP is first duration, where the first BWP and the second BWP are uplink BWPs or downlink BWPs used by the terminal device to send and receive data. The terminal device can indicate to the network device a specific switching delay between two BWPs in a serving cell, so that a BWP switching delay determining method is more flexible and a result is more accurate.

The method includes: A first communications device receives first DCI from a network device in a first discontinuous reception active time, where the first DCI is used to indicate new uplink or downlink data transmission; the first communications device does not expect to receive a PDCCH from the network device in a first time period after the first discontinuous reception active time, where a start moment of the first time period is an end moment of the first discontinuous reception active time, and an end moment of the first time period is in a second discontinuous reception active time; and the first communications device monitors the PDCCH after the first time period.
