    Abstract: An apparatus for managing deterministic and synchronous multi-channel extension (DSME) network fluctuations in an industrial wireless sensor network includes: a network congestion rate measurer configured to measure a network congestion rate on the basis of a number of times an association request message is received and a number of times carrier sensing is performed, a DSME-guaranteed time slot (GTS) allocation information collector configured to continuously collect DSME-GTS allocation information using coordinators, a DSME-GTS maintenance determiner configured to determine whether to maintain or collect DSME-GTSs on the basis of collected network information, a slot reallocation determiner configured to determine whether data is received without collision from two nodes to which a slot is redundantly allocated and transmit a DSME-GTS expiration request to a sensor node for reallocation of empty slots.

    Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for K-edge based interior tomography image processing. The apparatus efficiently performs tomography image reconstruction by acquiring different material images using an energy-selective detector, such as a photon counting detector. The apparatus includes a projection image acquisition unit configured to inject a contrast agent into an object and acquire projection images using the energy-selective detector with respect to a K-edge of the material, a parameter initialization unit configured to initialize parameters needed for image reconfiguration, an ROI interior reconstruction unit configured to perform reconstruction for image reconfiguration until initial convergence is achieved in order to reconstruct an interior of a region of interest, a concentration and correction value calculation unit configured to calculate a concentration and a correction value (β) using a linear attenuation coefficient of the contrast agent and a linear attenuation coefficient of blood, which are known, in the acquired and reconstructed image.

    Abstract: A method for forming or deforming a workpiece at a high speed using electroplasticity effect includes: applying a first level of pulse current to the work piece to cause the electroplasticity effect and lower a flow stress of the work piece; and applying a first level of electromagnetic force to the workpiece for 150˜300 μs to form or deform the work piece in a desired shape while the flow stress of the work piece is maintained at the lowered level, wherein the first level of electromagnetic force is lower than a second level of electromagnetic force which is required to form or deform the workpiece in the desired shape without applying the first level of pulse current.
