    Abstract: The present invention relates to a 3D holographic imaging apparatus and method for projecting multiple point light sources to one plane such that qubits can be detected at rapid rate by allowing a 3D qubit model arranged in three dimensions to be simultaneously photographed in two dimensions. For this, the present invention provides a 3D holographic imaging apparatus comprising: a fluorescent unit configured to cause each qubit composing a 3D qubit model to emit qubit fluorescent beams; a lens unit configured to change the qubit fluorescent beams to a desired route; a light modulator configured to modulate each phase of the qubit fluorescent beams for each predetermined position, and control a position of a focal point; and an imaging unit configured to image the qubit fluorescent beams modulated by the light modulator in a two-dimensional (2D) image. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to greatly reduce the preparation and detection time of the 3D qubit model and increase the number of detectable qubits.

    Abstract: A method of using open domain information for understanding a context of temporal relation information is implemented as a computer program and performed using a computing device. Unnecessary elements is removed by data pre-processing from an input text in a natural language, and then linguistic characteristics of the pre-processed input text are analyzed to generate a linguistic analysis result in a structure form. Candidates for temporal relation information included in the input text are generated by analyzing temporal information and open domain information included in the input text using the linguistic analysis result, then validity of the candidates is verified to generate verified temporal relation information. Since the temporal relation information can be grasped based on the open-domain information in the input text, quality and accuracy of an information extraction result can be increased in applications, thereby improving system performance for question and answer, document summary, conversation systems, etc.

    Abstract: Various embodiments relate to an optical detection element and GOI (Ge-on-insulator) device for ultra-small on-chip optical sensing, and a manufacturing method of the same. According to various embodiments, the optical detection element and the GOI device may be implemented on a GOI structure comprising a germanium (Ge) layer, and the GOI device may be implemented to have an optical detection element. Specifically, the GOI device may include a GOI structure with a waveguide region comprising a germanium layer, a light source element configured to generate light for the waveguide region, and at least one optical detection element configured to detect light coming from the waveguide region. At least one slot configured to collect light from the light source element may be formed in the germanium layer in the waveguide region. The light source element may generate light so as to be coupled to the germanium layer in the waveguide region. The optical detection element may detect heat generated as light is propagated from the germanium layer.
