    摘要: Provided is a method and device for switching a primary/backup PW. When a primary PW is detected having changed into a Down status by a BFD session corresponding to the primary PW, PE searches for a matching switching information entry. When in the switching information entry indicates transmission switching is supported, and Failover value indicates that a packet is forwarded via a backup PW, the PE updates Failover value in a hardware protection switching entry to the Failover value in the switching information entry. When bRX in the switching information entry indicates reception switching is supported, the PE updates drop identifier in a hardware reception entry to a value indicating that a packet is received, and updates the bFS to a value indicating that transmission switching is not supported; and the PE reports a Down event of the primary PW.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for uplink feedback for operating with a large number of carriers are disclosed herein. A method in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) includes receiving a plurality of transport blocks over a set of a plurality of configured carriers, generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) feedback for the transport blocks and determining a number of HARQ-ACK feedback bits to use for the HARQ-ACK feedback. Further, the WTRU may apply, to the HARQ-ACK feedback bits, Reed-Muller coding on a condition that the number of HARQ-ACK feedback bits is less than or equal to a threshold or convolutional coding on a condition that the number of HARQ-ACK feedback bits is greater than a threshold. The WTRU may then transmit the encoded HARQ-ACK feedback bits. In addition, the WTRU may conditionally append cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits onto the HARQ-ACK feedback bits, and encode and transmit the CRC bits.

    摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing efficient downlink Hybrid Automatic Request (HARQ) feedback. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a wireless device in a cellular communications system comprises receiving downlink control information from a radio access node in a first subframe T. The downlink control information comprises an indication of a HARQ timing offset K. The method further comprises transmitting downlink HARQ feedback to the radio access node in a subframe T+K. In this manner, HARQ feedback can be directly scheduled by the network, which in turn enables efficient HARQ feedback.
