摘要: An illustrative embodiment disclosed herein is method for power distribution optimization. In some embodiments, the method includes determining an efficiency for each power block of a plurality of power blocks of a power distribution optimization system, determining a characteristic for each power block, determining a power to provide, selecting a first percentage of the power that a first power block is to provide and a second percentage of the power that a second power block is to provide at least based on the efficiency for each power block, the characteristic for each power block, and the power to provide, wherein the first percentage of the power is greater than the second percentage of the power, and sending a dispatch command to cause the first power block to provide the first percentage of the power and the second power block to provide the second percentage of the power.

摘要: A smart energy storage system is described. The system includes a smart energy storage unit coupled to a selected circuit of a local electric grid, and configured for being charged so as to withdraw and store energy from the local electric grid, and discharged for supplying energy to the local electric grid. The smart energy storage unit includes an energy storage cell configured for being charged so as to withdraw and store energy from the local electric grid, and discharged for supplying energy to the local grid, and a storage cell management unit for controlling the energy storage cell.

摘要: Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: obtaining historical data of demand response programs and demand response agreements respective to each of the users regarding a subject energy. Training dataset for a DR user pooling model includes attributes of the demand response data collected that are relevant to responsivities of the demand response programs. The DR user pooling model is trained by the training dataset by machine learning. A DR user pool is identified amongst users of the demand response program by the DR user pooling model. Users in the DR user pool respond to demands as a group and the DR user pool is adjusted to improve responsivities of the demand response programs.

摘要: A method and system are provided for improving predictions of electrical power usage. In the method and system, load and/or environmental data is classified into data sets that correspond to different modes of operation of an electrical load. Different predictive models are also provided for each set of classified data. The predictive models may provide more efficient and/or more accurate predictions of power usage since each model is limited to a particular mode of operation.

摘要: A power control device for an electrically powered appliance may selectively switch off one 110 volt input (of two separate 110 volt input lines) of a 220 volt power supply to the appliance during certain periods of operation, in response to a demand-response request. This may adjust operation of one or more components of the appliance, thus adjusting an amount of power consumed by the appliance. A determination of which one, of the two, 110 volt input lines to be switched off may be made based on an analysis of the amount of power consumed by each of the two 110 volt input lines during operation of the appliance. The power control device may be provided at any point between the electrically powered appliance and a power distribution panel distributing power from an external source.

摘要: A device may detect a power removal event, determine whether the power removal event is a local power removal event or a system power removal event, and perform state correction. For example, the device may receive an indication of a state change event turning on the lighting device. The indication may be received from a sensor. For example, the sensor may include a photosensing circuit (e.g., capable of detecting light emission from the lighting device) or the sensor may include a live voltage sensor (e.g., capable of detecting a change in current driven to the lighting device). The device may then determine whether the power removal event is a system power removal event or a local power removal event. If the device determines that the power removal event is a system power removal event, the device may perform state correction (e.g., setting the lighting device to its state prior to the power removal event).

摘要: A method for controlling an electric device includes monitoring a usage of an electric supply of an electric network and determining that an excess capacity of the electric supply is less than a required power of the electric device. Monitoring the use of the electric supply where the monitoring of the electric supply includes filtering expected electric supply oscillations of the electric supply. Determining that the excess capacity has become greater than the required power. Waiting, in response to determining that the excess capacity has become greater than the required power, a delay time based on a usage profile of the electric supply and enabling the power of the electric device.
