A wake-up operator control event is detected by a sensor and has an associated time interval from the preceding wake-up operator control event. Each wake-up operator control event has an associated switch-off indicator which is ascertained each time a wake-up operator control event is detected, and the control unit is woken up or not woken up as a function of the level of the switch-off indicator with reference to a switch-off threshold. A change in the current switch-off indicator relative to the preceding switch-off indicator is all the greater the smaller the current time interval.

    摘要: An apparatus for determining a pitch-over condition of a vehicle comprises a first accelerometer for sensing acceleration in a Z-axis direction substantially perpendicular to both a front-to-rear axis of the vehicle and a side-to-side axis of the vehicle and for providing a first acceleration signal indicative thereof. A second accelerometer for senses acceleration in an X-axis direction substantially parallel to said front-to-rear axis of the vehicle and provides a second acceleration signal indicative thereof. A controller determines a Z-axis velocity value from the first acceleration signal and a pitch-over condition of the vehicle in response to both the determined Z-axis velocity value and the second acceleration signal.

    摘要: An occupant classification system classifies occupants on a vehicle seat and is capable of separating child seats from adults during wet seat cases. In the system, the seat structure is grounded. The classification system includes a measurement circuit, an identifying circuit, and a controller. The measurement circuit is configured to measure in-phase and quadrature components of a current sent out to the sensing element. The identifying circuit is configured to identify if a seat pan and a seat back frame of the vehicle seat are grounded to a circuit ground. The controller is configured to use measurements of the measurement circuit to classify the occupant. The sensing element can be located in a sensing mat that further includes a heating element.

The memory stores two seat positions adjusted by the adjustment operation member. The request operation member sequentially retrieves the two seat positions stored in the memory when pushed. The ECU drives and controls the motor to reinstate the seat position retrieved by the operation of the request operation member. The ECU automatically stores a seat position before the reinstatement of the retrieved seat position is started in the memory.
