摘要: Razor having a hair-cutting fiber having a hair-cutting section attached to a support in such a position relative to a skin engaging surface that the hair-cutting section is exposed to a user's skin for cutting through hairs when the skin engaging surface is in contact with the skin and moved over the skin. The hair-cutting section has a fiber diameter smaller than or equal to 7 μm and is made from a fiber material having a tensile strength larger than or equal to 5 GPa. A shaving method using such a razor is also described.

The razor head further comprises a plurality of substantially parallel cutting members disposed between the leading longitudinal member and the trailing longitudinal member, and a cutting member support arranged in the frame, wherein the cutting member support is coupled to the plurality of cutting members. The cutting member support is configured to displace at least one cutting member of the plurality of cutting members from a default position to at least one predetermined deviating position based on an external stimulus.

摘要: A razor blade has a first and a second portion. The first portion has a cutting edge at an exterior end and is angled relative to the second portion by a bending process. A bent region that can be arcuate is intermediate the first and second portions. The razor blade is manufactured from martensitic stainless steel being mostly iron and having (by weight): 0.40 to 0.60% C; 0.30 to 0.55% Si; 0.70 to 0.90% Mn; 13.0 to 14.0% Cr; 0.50 to 1.0% Mo; and 0.03 to 0.2%, more preferably 0.03-0.1% N.

An average radius of curvature of the concave face of the bent portion is between 0.5 millimeters to 0.57 millimeters.
