    摘要: The invention relates to a patch type antenna comprising: a ground plane (10); and a radiating element disposed facing the groundplane-forming means. The antenna further comprises: a passive component (16) disposed entirely facing said radiating element (12) without direct electrical contact therewith in order to provide electromagnetic coupling between said passive component and said radiating element, said passive component having no mechanical connection between itself and the radiating element so that an empty space exists between itself and the radiating element, said passive component being isolated from the ground plane and being electrically connectable to the antenna feed point. In addition, said antenna system does not have a short-circuit between said radiating element and the ground plane.

    摘要: A built-in antenna system for indoor wireless communications includes an AP antenna, all of the surfaces of which, except for an emitting surface, are installed behind wall surfaces in a wall of a building, and includes an access point (AP) (or an RF unit) connected to the AP antenna. Alternatively, the antenna system includes an antenna structure that is installed to pass through a selected wall of a building and an AP (or RF unit) connected to the antenna structure, the antenna structure having a sliding structure that can be adjusted according to the thickness of the wall. The shift of a frequency band caused by the wall may be avoided, and high-quality wireless communications is achieved regardless of the location of a wireless communication terminal in the building. Further, it is possible to increase the intensity of an electric field at the position of the terminal.

    摘要: This invention presents new and alternative design techniques of single feed Dual/Tri ISM band PIFA for wireless system applications. To attain the advantages of and in accordance with the purpose of the present invention, dual and/or tri ISM band PIFA antennas are provided. In particular, an antenna comprises at least a ground plane, a radiating element, a short, and a feed tab. The short provides a connection between the ground plane and the radiating element. The feed tab connected to the radiating element provides RF power and provides initial impedance match. While the feed tab provides initial impedance match, additional impedance match and frequency control are obtained by the inclusion of one or more of a parasitic element, a slot, tuning stubs, and capacitive elements.

The length of the radiating plate is approximate quarter wavelength corresponding to the operating frequency. The main feature of the antenna, according to the invention, is that the feeding plate and the ground plate extend in the same direction, thereby reducing the scale of the antenna.
