摘要: A method of determining a temperature distribution in a mold plate of a mold for a metal-making process, wherein the method includes: obtaining a temperature value from each of a plurality of temperature sensors arranged in the mold plate, each temperature sensor being spaced apart from a respective reference point in the mold plate, determining for each temperature value a reference point temperature value at the corresponding reference point using either a respective linear function or a respective non-linear function, wherein a correction factor and correction term of the linear function or a set of parameters in a general non-linear formulation of the non-linear function is obtained from a plurality of initial temperature relationships, wherein each initial temperature relationship is between a simulated temperature at the corresponding temperature sensor in the mold plate and a simulated temperature at the corresponding reference point in the mold plate, each simulated temperature being obtained based on a respective simulation of a model of the mold plate for a unique mold plate condition where the thermal boundary conditions of the mold plate have been completely, explicitly and uniquely stated, and obtaining an estimated temperature distribution at the reference points in the mold plate by means of the reference point temperature values.

摘要: A bubbler device and method of its operation are disclosed. The bubbler device includes a bubbler tube that provides bubbles to a molten material in a furnace; a protective layer disposed on the bubbler tube; and a wire that is electrically coupled to the protective layer. The wire extends through the bore, and the protective layer and the wire partially form an electrical circuit for measuring integrity of the bubbler device based on at least one of conductivity or resistance in the electrical circuit. Sometimes, an inner protective material may be disposed on an inside surface of the tube and coupled to the protective layer, and the wire can be coupled to the inner protective material or multiple wires may be used. The use of dissimilar materials in these components may be used to form a thermocouple junction to measure the temperature of the molten material in a furnace.

摘要: Magnet-thermocouple for the fail-safe safety supply of gas to burners or the like, in particular of fail-safe safety control for domestic cooking devices, comprises: at least one gas burner, which gas burner is connected to a gas supply source by flame-regulating means and by means of a safety valve driven by a flame presence sensor consisting of a thermocouple, said safety valve having an open condition, wherein said supply source supplied said burner, and a closed condition, wherein the gas passage is interrupted and wherein the thermocouple, in the presence of a flame, generates an electrical signal constituting the drive signal for the passage of said safety valve from an open condition to a closed condition, and vice-versa, of said safety valve, whereas a further drive signal generator and power supply of said safety valve is provided, for the temporary and alternative supply of the safety valve during the flame ignition step heating the thermocouple, to the temperature generating the drive signal. According to the invention, the signal generator and power supply comprise power limiters to limit the signal generated and an automatic deactivating unit whenever the power supply is overloaded for a predefined amount of time, the power necessary for the drive signal of the safety valve being greater than the one determined by the limiters.

摘要: Temperature measurement is an important part of many potential applications in process industry. Conventional temperature measurement methods require manual intervention for process monitoring and fail to provide accurate and precise measurement of temperature of an enclosed mixed fluid chamber. The present disclosure provides artificial intelligence based temperature measurement in mixed fluid chamber. A plurality of inputs pertaining to the mixed fluid chamber are received to build a fluid based model. The fluid based model is used to generate one or more fluid parameters. The one or more fluid parameters are used along with a ground truth temperature data and the received plurality of inputs for training an artificial intelligence (AI) based model. However, the AI based model is trained with and without knowledge of fluid flow. The trained AI based model is further used to accurately estimate temperature of the mixed fluid chamber for a plurality of test input data.
