摘要: A controller for heating, ventilation, or air conditioning (HVAC) equipment that is operable to affect an environmental condition of a building is configured to obtain predictive models that predict values of a carbon emissions control objective and another control objective as a function of control decision variables for the HVAC equipment. The controller executes an optimization process using the predictive models to produce sets of optimization results corresponding to different values of the control decision variables, the carbon emissions control objective, and the other control objective. The controller selects from the sets of optimization results based on the values of the carbon emissions control objective and the other control objective. The controller operates the HVAC equipment to affect the environmental condition of the building in accordance with the values of the control decision variables corresponding to a selected set of the optimization results.

摘要: An HVAC system includes a controller configured to receive weather forecast information including anticipated future outdoor temperatures. Based at least in part on the weather forecast information, the controller determines that test-initiation criteria are satisfied for testing operation of the HVAC system in a test mode. In response to determining that the test-initiation criteria are satisfied, the controller determines that current weather conditions are suitable for operating the HVAC system in the test mode for a test time period. The HVAC system is operated in the test mode for the test time period. Following operation of the HVAC system in the test mode for the test time period, the controller determines whether a predefined change in an indoor air temperature is achieved. If the predefined change in the indoor air temperature is achieved, the test is passed. Otherwise, the test is failed.

The operations include generating, using the results of the plurality of simulations, at least one of design including one or more recommended design parameters data or operational data including one or more recommended operational parameters for the HVAC system and initiating an automated action using at least one of the design data or the operational data.

The building management system also includes an equipment management server configured to assign and store parent-child relationships for the plurality of devices of building equipment. The equipment management server is also configured to monitor the status data to detect faults and generate a fault visualization interface. The fault visualization interface provides provide a list of the devices with detected faults, allows a user to select one or more of the devices from the list, and presents a parent-child relationship widget for the selected device. The parent-child relationship widget includes a list of parent devices for the selected device and a list of child devices for the selected device. Each device on the lists of parent devices and child devices has a status indicator indicating whether the device is in a fault condition.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for validating the installation and operation of a fault detection and diagnostic module that monitors a component of an HVAC system. A remote diagnostic server is in operative communication with the HVAC system, and with the fault detection and diagnostic module. A user device communicates data to the remote diagnostic server that defines an association between the fault detection and diagnostic module and the HVAC system. The remote diagnostic server initiates an installation validation by sending a command to the HVAC system that causes the monitored component to initiate an event that is expected to be reported by the fault detection and diagnostic module. For example, a fan motor is turned on. If correctly installed, the fault detection and diagnostic module senses the event, and reports the event to the remote diagnostic server, which confirms the association. The remote diagnostic server sends a message to the user device indicating the result of the validation.

摘要: An air-conditioning system includes a plurality of indoor unit parts having wireless communication units transmitting wireless radio waves, and a mobile terminal unit performing a wireless communication with each of the wireless communication units. The air-conditioning apparatus operation management unit causes the air-conditioning apparatus information display unit to display a list of the indoor unit parts and causes the air-conditioning apparatus information display unit also to perform display for urging selection of ones of the indoor unit parts as targets of a collective setting operation. When ones of the indoor unit parts are selected from the air-conditioning apparatus operation input unit, the air-conditioning apparatus operation management unit sets the selected ones of the indoor unit parts as a group.
