摘要: The present invention relates to an adsorbent comprising an alumina support and at least one alkali element, said adsorbent being obtained by introducing at least one alkali element, identical to or different from sodium, onto an alumina support the sodium content of which, expressed as Na2O equivalent, before the introduction of the alkali element or elements, is comprised between 1000 and 5000 ppm by weight with respect to the total weight of the support. The invention also relates to processes for the preparation of said adsorbent and use thereof in a process for the elimination of acidic molecules such as COS and/or CO2.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for preparing a monolithic stationary phase in the interior volume of a chromatography column made of thermoplastic polymer. This method comprises the following steps: (i) modifying the inner wall of the chromatography column by implementing the following steps: (a) preparing a polymerizable anchoring composition comprising at least one particular methacrylate monomer, one or more solvents and 2,2-dimethoxy-2-phenylacetophenone, (b) depositing, on the inner wall of the column, the polymerizable anchoring composition prepared in step (a), and (c) polymerizing the polymerizable anchoring composition by irradiation with ultraviolet radiation; (ii) introducing, into the interior volume of the column, a polymerizable monolith synthesis composition comprising first and second particular (meth)acrylate monomers, one or more pore-forming agents and a free-radical polymerization initiator; and (iii) polymerizing the polymerizable monolith synthesis composition. The invention also relates to a method for producing a chromatography column comprising such a monolithic stationary phase and to a chromatographic separation method using such a column.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a hydrocarbon absorbent structure comprises providing a lower sheet of material and dispensing a hydrocarbon absorbent polymer mixture thereon. The polymer mixture is then preheated so as to at least partially melt the polymer mixture. An upper sheet of material is then provided onto the at least partially melted polymer mixture on the lower sheet of material. The lower sheet of material, polymer mixture and upper sheet of material are then laminated together to form a hydrocarbon absorbent laminate structure.

摘要: The present invention relates to a carbon dioxide adsorbent based on a hydrophobic silane-coated amine-functionalized MOF/alumina composite and, more specifically, to a carbon dioxide adsorbent based on a hydrophobic silane-coated amine-functionalized MOF/alumina composite, capable of maintaining structural stability by means of the moisture present in exhaust gas, and thus can effectively capture carbon dioxide in a real fluidized bed. According to the present invention, provided are a carbon dioxide adsorbent and a preparation method therefor, the carbon dioxide adsorbent being capable of maintaining structural stability by means of the moisture present in exhaust gas since the surface of a porous metal-organic framework/alumina oxide composite is coated with hydrophobic silane.

摘要: Fresh water contamination by heavy metals results from a variety of sources and can be damaging to wildlife, alter landscapes, and impact human health. metals removal form water sources is desirable for improving water quality and preventing adverse effects, but also for metals collection and recycling. Adsorption is a desirable metals extraction technique due to economic feasibility. Nanoscale materials exhibit high surface-area-to-volume ratio that lends to high adsorption and reactivity, making them ideal candidates for adsorptive metals extraction processes. Despite these properties, nanomaterials have elicited safety concerns. The extraordinarily small dimensions of these materials allow them to maneuver biological systems, tissues, and even cells, and combined with high reactivity, this translocation can result in toxic effects. It is therefore imperative that safety of nanomaterials for metals extraction be evaluated in addition to adsorptive properties. The current invention describes nanoparticles composed of magnetite, coated in hydroxyapatite, and functionalized for adsorption with titanium dioxide (TiHAMNPs). This material is safe, provides significant adsorption of metals, and allows efficient collection in magnetic systems.

摘要: This invention disclosure reported here a supported metal hydroxide adsorbent and a method for its preparation as well as a method for its oxidative regeneration. The supported metal hydroxide adsorbent comprises metal hydroxide and support with a mass ratio of 5-30:100. The adsorbent disclosed in present invention exhibited outstanding adsorption capacity and high selectivity to sulfur impurity in gasoline. The method of oxidative regeneration provides an efficient way for the recovery of the saturated adsorbent.
