摘要： A hinge is mounted between a cover and a base of an electronic device and has a first actuating unit, a pivoting limit and a second actuating unit. The first actuating unit has two tops. The pivoting limit is mounted pivotally between the stops. The second actuating unit selectively abuts a first side and a second side of the pivoting limit. When the second actuating unit abuts one of the sides of the pivoting limit to pivot the pivoting limit, one of the sides of the pivoting limit abuts one of the stops to limit the rotating angle. With the pivot of the pivoting limit, the rotating angle is increased. Therefore, the cover of the electronic device is fully rotatable by 180 degrees in either direction, and the hinge still provides limiting function to protect inner wires.

Positional misalignment between both cases can be easily prevented without relying only on dimensional precision of the components of the two-axis hinge mechanism. The portable electronic apparatus has a hinge (4) for interconnecting the first and second cases so that they can be opened and closed about a first rotation axis (X) and at the same time interconnecting the first and second cases so that they can pivot about a second rotation axis (Y). The hinge (4) has a first case fixing component (122) fixed to the first case, a first connection component (452) connected to the first case fixing component (122) so as to be rotatable about the second rotation axis (Y), and a second connection component (461) connected to the second case so as to be rotatable about the first rotation axis (X). The first connection component (452) and the second connection component (461) are connected to each other with a screw. The degree of tightening of the screw for connecting the first connection component (452) and the second connection component (461) together can be changed when the first and second cases are closed by folding them about the first rotation axis (X).

摘要： A dual-axis hinge, comprises a body, a pintle, a mounting leaf, a resilient element and a mounting bracket. The body is tubular and has two ends. The pintle is mounted inside and protrudes transversely from the body and has an upper end and a flange that protrudes radially out from the upper end. The mounting leaf is mounted rotatably around the pintle between the flange and the body and attaches to a cover of an electronic device. The resilient element is mounted around the pintle between the flange and the mounting leaf. The mounting bracket is connected rotatably to one end of the body and a base of an electronic device. With such an arrangement, the dual-axis hinge only has a few components in a simple structure and allows the cover to lift from the base and rotate horizontally relative to the base.
