    摘要: A device for producing an electric signal which corresponds to the position of an object which is movable in translation or rotation relative to a base, wherein by optical scanning of markings which periodically recur upon a movement of the object, analog voltage signals A, A and B, B are produced by means of sensors which are spaced apart from each other by one-quarter of the scanning period. The signals are converted in an evaluation circuit with comparators into digital forms of the signals A and B (quadrature signal). In order to produce a test signal S, there is also provided in the device a summation circuit by means of which the voltage signals A, A and B, B are added and compared in a comparator with a threshold value.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an A/D conversion device capable of compensating for quantizing errors occurring as a result of variations in operating conditions and a physical quantity detection device using this A/D conversion device.     摘要: An integrated circuit for indicating the angular position of a rotating crankshaft corrected for crankshaft acceleration and deceleration. The circuit counts crankshaft markers spaced at equal angles about the crankshaft to produce a coarse grain position of the crankshaft. The circuit computes the time for the crankshaft to rotate to a series of incremental positions between contiguous markers and extrapolates a plurality of fine grain incremental positions of the crankshaft as a function of prior changes in velocity of the crankshaft. The coarse grain position is added to a fine grain position to produce a real time position of the crankshaft. A digital position bus communicates the real time crankshaft position. The circuit also computes both the velocity of the crankshaft after detecting each marker and the average acceleration of the crankshaft between contiguous markers for output over a digital velocity bus and a digital acceleration bus.

    摘要: A caliper logging sonde is equipped with a plurality of fingers (54) mounted swivelably with respect to its body member (51). The movement of each finger (54) is transmitted to a respective bar (176) in magnetic material. This bar moves within a longitudinal tube (136) which is mounted in a sealed manner with respect to the sonde body member so that its interior is subjected to the pressure outside the sonde and so that the space around this tube is not subjected to this pressure. Around the tube is mounted a transducer winding (150) whose self-inductance depends on the degree of penetration of the bar (176) and hence on the displacement to be measured. A measurement of this self-inductance is obtained by the study of the variation of a current going through the coil when a voltage transient is applied to the coil terminals.

    摘要: A displacement detector especially intended for a gear wheel grinding or inspecting machine contains a conventional pre-stage comprising a forward-backward counter receiving measuring pulses, a buffer or intermediate store for preserving the counter state at each moment, and a comparator for detecting predetermined position values during a measuring operation. To prevent overflow of the counter during more extended travel paths and at high resolution a pulse storing and detecting circuit and a synchronizer circuit are provided which enable the counter to be reset at any moment without any pulse becoming lost. Consequently, a conventional 8-bit or 16-bit microprocessor system and circuit components or elements of the same bit format can be used. The use of a 32-bit format is thus avoided, which otherwise requires substantially higher expense in terms of hardware, space and circuitry and which otherwise unavoidably must be used for more extended travel paths and high resolution.
