摘要: Aspects of this disclosure relate to a torque and angle sensing device. A sensor and a processing circuit are integrated into the device. The sensor is configured to generate a first signal indicative of a first angle and/or speed. The device includes an input contact configured to receive a second reference signal indicative of a second reference angle and/or speed. The processing circuit is configured to generate an indication of torque based on at least the first signal and the second signal. In certain applications, the processing circuit is capable of pre-programming and/or learning and storing the reference information and generating an indication of torque based on the first signal generated internally and the reference information. An output contact of the device can provide the indication of torque. Related systems and methods are also disclosed.

摘要: A first converter converts an initial attitude in an Euler angle representation into an initial attitude represented by quaternion. An updating unit updates an attitude represented by quaternion by defining the initial attitude represented by quaternion as an initial value, successively substituting output values of the triaxial gyro sensor. A second converter converts the attitude represented by quaternion into an attitude in the Euler angle representation. An angular speed derivation unit derives an angular speed based on a time-dependent change in the attitude in the Euler angle representation. A controller adjusts a period of time for derivation by an initial attitude derivation unit based on a variance value of the output value of the triaxial acceleration sensor or a variance value of the output value of the triaxial gyro sensor, when the speed is lower than a threshold value.

摘要: A position sensor is configured to use a Wiegand wire, position magnet(s) and a reset magnet in which changes in polarization of the Wiegand wire caused by the position magnet(s) can be reset by the reset magnet. The position magnet(s), which can move in relation to the Wiegand wire, can have relatively stronger magnetic flux densities, and the reset magnet, which can be fixed in relation to the Wiegand wire, can have a relatively weaker magnetic flux density. When the position magnet(s) are proximal the Wiegand wire, the relatively stronger position magnet(s) overcome the reset magnet to cause a change in polarization of the Wiegand wire which produces an electrical pulse which can be counted. However, when the position magnet(s) become distal to the Wiegand wire, the relatively weaker reset magnet can reset the polarization of the Wiegand wire to prepare for a next count. As a result, the total number of magnets required in the system can be reduced, and the probability of failing to reset the Wiegand wire can be lowered.
