    Abstract: An antenna includes a radiator and a balun structure. The radiator includes a first branch for a first current to flow through and a second branch for a second current to flow through. The first branch and the second branch are arranged on two opposite sides of the balun structure. A direction of the first current is at least partially opposite to that of the second current. The first branch is spaced from the balun structure by a first slot. The second branch is spaced from the balun structure by a second slot. The first slot is configured to form a first horizontally-radiated electric field by the first current and a current on the balun structure. The second slot is configured to form a second horizontally-radiated electric field by the second current and the current on the balun structure.

    Abstract: An electronic device comprises a first radiator coupled to a second radiator. One end of a second branch of the second radiator is connected between a head end and a tail end of a first branch of the second radiator. The other end of the second branch is connected between a head end and a tail end of a third branch of the second radiator. A projection of a reference face of the first branch on the first radiator is a first projection. The first projection partly overlaps the first radiator, or a distance between the first projection and the first radiator is within a range of 0 to 3 millimeters. A ratio of a first center distance between an end face of the third branch and the reference face, and a second center distance between the other end face of the third branch and the reference face is within a range of 0.5 to 2.

    Abstract: An antenna structure includes a first signal connector and a second signal connector. The antenna structure further includes a cavity antenna defined by a set of planar walls. The cavity antenna is coupled to the first signal connector and configured to emit a field polarized linearly in a first direction when driven by a signal at the first signal connector. The antenna structure further includes a dipole antenna defined by a pair of arms that are integrated with a wall of the cavity antenna. The dipole antenna is coupled to the second signal connector and configured to a field polarized linearly in a second direction offset from the first direction when driven by a signal at the second signal connector.

    Abstract: A slot antenna comprises a printed circuit board, wherein the printed circuit board has a slot, a first capacitor, a radio frequency signal source, a transmission line, and a ground cable, wherein one end of the slot is open, and the other end is closed; the first capacitor and the ground cable are disposed on the printed circuit board, wherein the first capacitor is located on the open end of the slot; the transmission line connects the first capacitor to the radio frequency signal source; and the radio frequency signal source is configured to stimulate a feeding signal, and feed the feeding signal to the open end of the slot, wherein the radio frequency signal source connects the transmission line to the ground cable, and wherein a feed point from the radio frequency signal source to the transmission line is located outside the slot.

    Abstract: A handheld device includes a metal frame, two switches, and an antenna feedpoint, where two slits are disposed at the metal frame; the slits divide the metal frame into a left frame, a middle frame, and a right frame; two sides of each slit are bridged by one switch, where one of the switches is in a connected state, the other of the switches is in a disconnected state, and the two switches perform state switching when a user's finger connects a slit corresponding to the switch in a disconnected state; and the antenna feedpoint is electrically connected to the middle frame, and the left frame and the right frame are grounded, to form an antenna.
