Abstract:
A vibration reduction structure of a reciprocating compressor comprises: a case having a suction pipe for introducing a refrigerant and a discharge pipe for discharging a refrigerant at both sides thereof; an assembly installed in the case to compress a refrigerant and composed of a cylinder, a piston, a driving unit, and a discharge valve assembly; a loop pipe installed between the discharge valve assembly and the discharge pipe with a curved shape; and a connection unit for connecting a first point of the loop pipe and a second point of the loop pipe facing the first point and thereby reducing a vibration transmission. According to this, vibration generated as the piston is operated can be transmitted to the compressor through many paths including the loop pipe and the additional connection unit. Also, generated vibration can be canceled to each other due to its phase difference, thereby preventing vibration from being transmitted to the entire case. Also, a damage of the connection part of the loop pipe due to vibration can be prevented, and a reliability of the product can be enhanced.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a drop unit, a transfer unit and a position adjusting unit. The drop unit drops droplets of an organic material. The transfer unit transfers the drop unit along a first direction. The position adjusting unit is interposed between the drop unit and the transfer unit to adjust a position of the drop unit. Therefore, the apparatus of dropping the organic material has a small size and may drop droplets of the organic material onto an accurate position. Furthermore, the transfer unit moves the drop unit quickly, and the position adjusting unit adjusts the position of the drop unit accurately. Therefore, a time difference for drying the organic material injected into a cavity is reduced.
Abstract:
A method for controlling an operation of a compressor and its apparatus can easily control an operation of the compressor without a request for a high-priced operation control apparatus by operating the compressor with controlling the amount of currents flowing into a winding coil of a motor (100) of the compressor according to load capacity of the refrigerator. The apparatus includes a control unit (103) for generating a control signal for selecting a main winding coil (M) of a linear motor (100) of a compressor or an auxiliary winding coil (M2) on the basis of the load capacity of a refrigerator, and a switching unit (101) for selecting the main winding coil (M) of the linear motor (100) or the auxiliary winding coil (M2) on the basis of the control signal. Herein, the main winding coil of the linear motor (100) is divided into a plurality of auxiliary winding coils (M2).

Abstract:
An inkjet printing system for manufacturing displays includes a stage on which a substrate is mounted, an inkjet head for depositing ink on the substrate, and a transfer device for controllably moving the inkjet head to selected positions above the substrate. The inkjet head includes a frame having a plurality of openings and a plurality of single heads that are readily attachable to and detachable from respective ones of the openings. Since the inkjet head includes a plurality of attachable and detachable single heads, if one nozzle of the inkjet head is damaged or becomes dysfunctional, the system can be repaired by replacing only one of the single heads, without the need to replace the entire inkjet head. As a result, the maintenance costs of the inkjet printing system are reduced.
Abstract:
A bone conduction speaker is utilized for hearing aid and other devices. The speaker's structure is improved by arranging a single permanent magnet above an iron piece coupled to a vibrating plate fixed to a resonator, containing at least one sound coil, enclosing a magnetic core located substantially beneath the center of plate. Audio signals are converted into oscillating current, input in the coil that alternates attractive/repulsing forces applied to the iron piece producing vibrations of the plate amplified by the resonator, further conducted through skin and skull to auditory nerves for sound recognition. The structure allows avoiding laborious adjustments of the permanent magnet means during the assembly process, freeing the internal space of resonator, enlarging the coil and core, improving performance, making the speaker compact and lightweight, reducing production costs. An embodiment is furnished with upwards standing parts disposed at two resonator's opposite ends, forming stable structure.
Abstract:
A delivery system employing nanoparticles of thiolated chitosan which complex with nucleic acids or other drugs. The system utilizes an approximately 33 kDa thiol-modified chitosan derivative resulting in highly effective gene delivery. Thiolation of chitosan resulted in reduced density of positive charges and DNA binding capacity. However, thiolated chitosan carrying a plasmid DNA expressing a green fluorescent protein (GFP) showed significantly higher GFP expression in various cell lines and in vivo in mice. Sustained delivery of plasmid DNA from thiolated chitosan was achieved by crosslinking thiolated chitosan/plasmid DNA nanocomplexes through inter- as well as intramolecular disulfide bonds under the physiological conditions. Thiolated chitosan nanoparticles have a great potential for gene therapy and tissue engineering.
