Abstract: Provided are a damage diagram creation method, a damage diagram creation device, a damage diagram creation system, and a recording medium capable of detecting damage with high accuracy based on a plurality of images acquired by subjecting a subject to split imaging.
In a damage diagram creation method, damage of a subject is detected from each image (each image in a state of being not composed) constituting a plurality of images (a plurality of images acquired by subjecting the subject to split imaging), and thus, damage detection performance is not deteriorated due to deterioration of image quality in an overlapping area. Therefore, it is possible to detect damage with high accuracy based on a plurality of images acquired by subjecting the subject to split imaging. Detection results for the respective images can be composed using a composition parameter calculated based on correspondence points between the images.-

Abstract: An image handling apparatus is disclosed, including an operation panel, hardware resources, a transferring part, and an image generation controlling part. The transferring part transfers image handle information input at the input screen to an external apparatus. The image generation controlling part receives and parses image generation information for at least one of the hardware resources to execute an image generation based on the image handle information, from the external apparatus in response to an instruction of the image generation, so that at least one of the hardware resources executes the image generation.

Abstract: An electronic device, such as a digital camera, includes a deletion mode whereby a camera/electronic device user can delete captured images or data files that have already been transferred in order to make room in the electronic device or digital camera memory for capturing further images. In one embodiment, a digital camera keeps track of which images have already been transferred to an external storage device and presents those to the user as potential images to be deleted. In another embodiment, the user is presented with a “delete all transferred images” which when selected deletes all the captured images that have already been transferred. In still another embodiment, deletion criteria are used to prioritize which images are deleted first.

Abstract: An image processing method includes: (a) displaying a plurality of candidate image processes to be performed on image data, the plurality of candidate image processes including a color modification process; (b) receiving an instruction indicating the color modification process selected from among the plurality of candidate image processes; (c) displaying a display image corresponding to the image data on the display; (d) designating a display image; and (e) displaying a processed display image that represents a result of the selected color modification process performed on the image data corresponding to the designated display image before the selected color modification process on the image data corresponding to the designated display image is performed.

Abstract: Variety of approaches to provide content and attachment printing for a communication are described. A productivity application initiates operations to provide content and attachment printing for a communication upon detecting an intent of a recipient to execute a print operation associated with the communication. Next, a content of the communication or attachment(s) associated with the communication is identified. A print menu is also provided. The print menu includes options for the print operation while displaying the content and representations of the attachment(s) together. In response to detecting a hover action on the print menu, an option for the print operation is highlighted. The option is associated with the content of the communication and/or attachment(s) associated with the communication. Upon receiving a selection of the option for the print operation, the print operation is performed without downloading the attachment(s) to a local storage.

Abstract: A method for proactively creating a photobook includes identifying a group of images by a computer system and automatically creating a design for a photobook by the computer system without receiving a user's request for designing a photobook if the number of images in the group is determined to be within a predetermined range. Pages of the photobook incorporate a plurality of images in the group. The method further includes presenting the design of the photobook to a user for preview and receiving an order from the user for a physical manifestation of the photobook based on the design.
