An electrical connection device is described which comprises a container comprising at least two seats, each seat being configured for containing an electrical connection element comprising a first contact element sliding contact element and a second sliding contact element, each connectable to a respective electric cable, and further comprising a tubular element inserted inside the container so that they can be rotated one with respect to the other, being the first sliding contact element integrally connected to the container and the second sliding contact element integrally connected to the tubular element to make a sliding contact between the contact elements.
Abstract:
A wire brush for a slipring includes a contact section, from which a stabilizer arm is extending backwards towards the brush block of the slipring. The stabilizer arm holds a friction section, which is in friction contact with the contact section at a friction contact area. Such contact, in operation, generates internal friction within the brush when the brush is moved and, therefore, suppresses oscillations of the brush.

Disclosed is an excitation device which includes a brush holder base. The brush holder base is provided with a plug. The plug is provided with a brush holder shaft. The front end of the brush holder shaft is provided with a brush box. A horizontal taper dovetail groove is formed in the brush holder base. A horizontal taper dovetail lug boss is disposed on the plug. The dovetail groove is matched with the dovetail lug boss. The present invention solves the problem of potential safety hazard in locking, and ensures safe and smooth operation of a unit.

A commutator (10, 40, 54, 60, 64, 70, 76, 78) for a brush motor includes a cylindrical insulating base (12), a plurality of segments (14) disposed on an outer surface (68) of the insulating base (12), circumferentially spaced from each other, and defining a plurality slots (42) between adjacent segments (14), and a plurality of insulating outgas elements (24) capable of releasing a gas having a lower conductivity than air and disposed on the outer surface (68) of the cylindrical insulating base (12). Each outgas element (24) is located between a corresponding pair of the plurality of segments (14), having a gas releasing surface (26) between the corresponding pair of segments (14) and lower than outer surfaces (28) of the corresponding pair of segments (14). A method for making a commutator is also provided.

Disclosed is a motor, the motor according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure including a stator arranged at an inner surface of a housing and including a magnet, a rotor core centrally arranged at the stator to pass through a rotation shaft, a rotor including an insulator covering the rotor core and a coil wound on the insulator, a commutator coupled to the rotation shaft to be electrically connected to the coil, and a brush coupled to the housing to be closely contacted to the commutator, wherein the insulator is formed with a short-circuit prevention unit formed on a drop path of conductive particles in order to prevent the short-circuit between the rotor core and the commutator from being generated by the conductive particles generated by the commutator and the brush.

An electric rotary machine which may be employed as a dc motor in an automotive engine starter. The motor includes an armature equipped with an armature shaft, a commutator, brushes, and a bearing retaining an end of the armature shaft. The surface of the commutator has a plurality of protrusions extending in parallel to each other in a direction of rotation of the commutator. Each of the brushes has formed in the bottom thereof grooves in which the protrusions of the commutator are fit. The brushes are urged into constant engagement of the grooves with the protrusions on the commutator to establish electrical contacts between the brushes and the commutator and minimize movement of the armature shaft relative to the bearing.

An automotive alternator includes a rear frame having a rear end wall and a cover member covering a brush device. The cover member is connected to the rear end wall of the rear frame, and a vibration-absorbing member made of a rubber material is disposed between the rear end wall and the cover member. The vibration-absorbing member has a cylindrical portion disposed between a center opening of the rear end wall and an extending portion of the cover member and a rear disc portion disposed between the rear end wall and a front surface of the cover member. The cylindrical portion is compressed in the radial direction while the rear disc portion is compressed in the axial direction, thereby alleviating vibration of the brush device in both the radial and the axial directions.
