摘要： A system for loading a patient transport apparatus into a vehicle is described. The system includes a loading and unloading system including a track and a trolley supporting a receiver movable between locked and unlocked configurations. The system also includes a patient transport apparatus for attachment to the loading and unloading system including a base, a litter, and a lift mechanism to facilitate arranging the litter at different heights relative to the base with an actuator movable between fully-retracted and fully-extended configurations, a coupler for engaging the receiver to secure the patient transport apparatus, first and second sensors configured to output a first signal and second signal and a controller to determine a target lift configuration during unloading from the emergency based on first and second values and to drive the actuator to the target lift configuration to limit relative movement between the patient transport apparatus and the trolley.

摘要： A low speed vehicle is capable of transporting a mobility scooter on a platform that is attached to the vehicle and capable of pivoting between use and stowed positions. The platform can be secured in the stowed position. The platform can be raised and lowered with an actuator having a limit switch interlocked with the vehicle's propulsion system to prevent vehicle movement unless the platform is raised. The actuator is affixed to the vehicle's frame in at least two places, with an aft attachment adjacent the rear bumper and a fore attachment adjacent the rear axle. The platform also includes brake lights that illuminate orthogonally with at least one brake light facing rearward in the use or stowed position of the platform.

摘要： A wheelchair lift with low energy consumption includes a platform assembly to receive a wheelchair. The wheelchair lift includes a hydraulic drive system to move the platform assembly between an entry level position and a ground level position. The wheelchair lift includes a fluid circuit being embodied to transport a hydraulic fluid from a tank using a pump driven by an electric motor to the hydraulic drive system to raise the platform assembly from the ground level position to the entry level position. The fluid circuit is further embodied to transport the hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic drive system via the pump to the tank, when lowering the platform assembly from the entry level position to the ground level position.

摘要： An automatic device for storing wheelchairs behind vehicles is provided. The wheelchair storage device is configured to mount to the exterior of a vehicle on the vehicle's roof rack. The storage device includes a horizontal and vertical arm, that when activated by a motor, uses a series of motors and gears to move a wheelchair attached to the vertical arm to the rear of the vehicle. A storage platform is further provided that receives and secures the wheelchair behind the vehicle. The motors of the storage device may be powered by the vehicle's engine, and a remote may be provided for user control.
