摘要: In wireless communication, a device may change, add, or handover between cells of network access for inter-cell mobility. This may include Layer 1 and/or Layer 2 (L1/L2) signaling for a user equipment (UE) moving between cells in a network. The signaling can reduce the mobility interruption time and improve robustness of a handover. The movement may be triggered by the network or the UE. A Layer 1 and/or Layer 3 (L1/L3) measurement is used for the inter-cell mobility. The mobility may be coordinated based on interactions between a centralized unit (CU) and a distributed unit (DU). The procedures can reduce interruption time and improve reliability.

摘要: This disclosure relates to methods and devices for managing transmission or retransmission on shared spectrum channel in a wireless communication network. In one implementation, the method may include determining if an uplink grant is deprioritized by a uplink shared channel transmission on a shared spectrum channel. The method may further include determining if a media access control (MAC) data packet has been generated for the deprioritized uplink grant. The method may further include, in response to the uplink grant being deprioritized and the MAC data packet being generated for the deprioritized uplink grant, performing a retransmission of the MAC data packet with an available uplink grant.

摘要: The disclosed techniques enable communication nodes to perform rate adjustments. As an example, a communication node may receive a control information from a network node. Based on the received control information, the control node may determine that the network node supports codec adaptation or that the communication node is allowed to enable the codec adaptation.

摘要: A system and method for power headroom reporting (PHR) during a Dual Activity Protocol Structure (DAPS) handover procedure. The system and method include receiving, by a wireless communication device, a handover command to begin a dual activity protocol structure (DAPS) handover; detecting, by the wireless communication device during the DAPS handover, a condition for power headroom reporting (PHR); and performing, by the wireless communication device during the DAPS handover, the PHR.

摘要: Some techniques for efficiently indicating a mapping relationship from physical random access channel preambles and/or random access resource specific to one or more system information blocks in a wireless communication network are described. One example method includes transmitting, from a network node, a message that identifies a number of random access preambles that are reserved for transmissions of system information requests by mobile devices.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and devices for providing fast mobility. In one form, a processor of user equipment detects a trigger event associated with activating or switching to one or more transmission control indication (TCI) states of a TCI states set associated with a first physical cell ID (PCI) for uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) transmission when one or more TCI states for a TCI state set associated with a second PCI is used by the user equipment for at least one of UL or DL transmission in one serving cell. The processor of the user equipment may then perform a procedure of activating or switching to the one or more TCI states of a TCI state set associated with the first PCI for UL and DL transmission in one serving cell.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and devices for providing fast mobility. In one form, a processor of user equipment initiates a random access procedure in one serving cell. Further, the processor of the user equipment selects a synchronization signal block (SSB) or a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) associated with a transmission control indication (TCI) state associated with a first physical cell ID (PCI), the SSB or the CSI-RS having a reference signaling received power (SSB-RSRP or CSI RSRP) that is above a threshold value.
