A method for use in an electronic device is provided, including: acquiring a first picture through a first image sensor; acquiring a second picture through a second image sensor; detecting, by a processing circuitry, an image of a body part in the second picture; creating a third picture based on the image of the body part; and displaying the first picture together with the third picture as a preview image.

An operating method of adjusting a preview area of images of an electronic device equipped with a dual camera is provided. The method includes determining whether a coordinate value of a current frame and an immediately previous frame among a plurality of frames configuring a first image has a change of less than a set value, adjusting a preview area of the first image to match a preview area of the current frame and a preview area of the immediately previous frame when it is determined that the there is the change of less than the set value, and adjusting a preview area of a second image by using a coordinate value adjusting the preview area of the first image.

The electronic device includes a light emitter, an image sensor including a plurality of first pixels controlled based on a first parameter, and a plurality of second pixels controlled based on a second parameter, at least one sensor, and a processor. The processor is configured to detect a first object and a second object among a plurality of objects in an image area, determine the first parameter based on a first property of the first object and the second parameter based on a second property of the second object, said determination is based at least in part on a light intensity that is outputted from the light emitter, reflected by the first object and the second object, and detected by the image sensor or the at least one sensor, acquire a first image of the first object according to the first parameter using the plurality of first pixels and a second image of the second object according to the second parameter using the plurality of second pixels; and synthesize a first area corresponding to the first object in the first image with a second area corresponding to the second object in the second image to generate an output image.

The method for image processing in the electronic device includes obtaining a first image and a second image respectively from a first image sensor and a second image sensor, determining at least one of a first image processing parameter for the first image and a second image processing parameter for the second image as an image processing parameter for the first image and the second image, and displaying at least one of the first image and the second image by considering the image processing parameter for the first image and a second image.

A method and an apparatus for dual recording shooting in an electronic device including a dual camera are provided. The method includes acquiring a first picture from a first camera that is in an operation state, acquiring a second picture from a second camera that is in a wait state, outputting the first picture at a first resolution, downscaling the second picture to a second resolution, outputting the second picture downscaled to the second resolution, and synthesizing the first picture and the second picture that is downscaled to the second resolution and previewing the synthesized result, using a Picture In Picture (PIP) function and, when a dual recording start instruction event occurs, restoring the second picture that is downscaled to the second resolution to a previous resolution, outputting the second picture restored to the previous resolution, synthesizing the first picture and the restored second picture, and recording the synthesized result.
