Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a light source area and a display area and including a base substrate having an upper surface facing a first direction, a panel light source part disposed on the upper surface corresponding to the light source area to emit a light to a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a display part disposed on the upper surface corresponding to the display area and a light guide plate disposed adjacent to the display panel in the second direction, receiving the light, and guiding the light to provide the light to the display area, and the display part displays an image using the light received from the light guide plate.
