Abstract: A display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels each of which is connected to a corresponding gate line of a plurality of gate lines and a corresponding data line of a plurality of data lines, the plurality of data lines crossing the plurality of gate lines. The display apparatus also includes a control signal generator configured to generate a plurality of control signals in response to a date enable signal, a gate driver configured to drive the gate lines in response to at least one control signal among the plurality of control signals, a data driver configured to drive the plurality of data lines, and a timing controller configured to control the data driver in response to at least one received image signal and at least one received image control signal, and apply the data enable signal to the control signal generator.
