    Abstract: There is provided a display device including a high-sensitivity touch sensor. A display device includes: pixels arranged in a display region; sensing electrodes arranged in a sensing region; sensing lines coupled to the respective sensing electrodes; a noise detection electrode disposed on the same layer as the sensing electrodes; sensing channels each including a first input terminal coupled to any one of the sensing electrodes and a second input terminal coupled to the noise detection electrode, the sensing channels each generating an output signal corresponding to a voltage difference between the first and second input terminals; and a processor detecting a touch input, using the output signals of the sensing channels.

    Abstract: A touch panel including a sensing cell and a sensing line disposed on a transparent substrate. Each of the sensing cell and the sensing line includes at least one pattern line. The at least one pattern line includes unit patterns, each of the unit patterns including a first line extending in a first direction, a second line connected to the first line and extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a third line connected to the first line and extending in a third direction intersecting the first direction, and a fourth line connected to the third line and extending in the first direction. The first line, the second line, the third line, and an extension of the fourth line form a trapezoid. The unit patterns are repeatedly arranged and adjacent unit patterns are connected each other.

    Abstract: A touch sensor includes sensing blocks. Each of the sensing blocks includes first sensing cells of a first group, first sensing cells of a second group, and second sensing cells. The first sensing cells of the first group are arranged in a first direction, spaced apart from each other with first separation areas therebetween, and coupled to an identical first electrical node. The first sensing cells of the second group are arranged in the first direction, spaced apart from each other with second separation areas therebetween, and coupled to an identical second electrical node. The second sensing cells respectively extend in a second direction in the first separation areas and the second separation areas. First sensing cells at borders of respective sensing blocks adjacent in the first direction are coupled to different electrical nodes.

    Abstract: A touch sensor includes a base, first sensing electrode columns (FSECs), and second sensing electrode columns (SSECs). The base includes a sensing region (SR) including a rounded corner (RC), and a non-SR outside the SR. The FSECs extend in a direction on the base, each FSEC among the FSECs including first sensing electrodes (FSEs), each FSE among the FSEs including sub-electrodes. The SSECs are alternately disposed with the FSECs on the base, each SSEC among the SSECs including second sensing electrodes (SSEs). Sub-electrodes of one of adjacent FSEs among the FSEs are electrically connected to respective sub-electrodes of another of the adjacent FSEs. A sub-electrode closest to the RC among the sub-electrodes includes a rounded edge (RE) corresponding to the RC. A SSE closest to the RC among the SSEs includes a RE corresponding to the RC, and a protrusion part protruding toward the sub-electrode including the RE.

    Abstract: An input sensing unit includes sensing electrodes. Each of the sensing electrodes includes: first electrodes arranged in a column extending in a first direction; a second electrode extending in the first direction; first sensing lines connected to the first electrodes, the first sensing lines extending in the first direction; and a second sensing line connected to the second electrode, the second sensing line extending in the first direction. The first sensing lines are connected to first pad portions. The second sensing line is connected to a second pad portion. The second pad portions or some of the first pad portions are disposed between a first pad portion among the first pad portions and the second pad portion, the first pad portion being connected to a first sensing line closest to the second sensing line among the first sensing lines.
