    Abstract: A display device and driving method thereof are disclosed. The display device includes a pixel emitting light at a luminance corresponding to an output grayscale value and a color shifter for converting an input grayscale value into the output grayscale value based on output color gamut information. The color shifter includes an offset storage unit storing reference color gamut information and offset information; and a color gamut determination unit that determines the output color gamut information using the reference color gamut information and the offset information when the color shift level corresponds to a value between the reference level and the shift levels, and determines tire output color gamut information using second offset information in which the offset information is inverted and the reference color gamut information when the color shift level is not between the reference level and the shift levels.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a contrast analyzer, a contrast processor and a data driver. The display panel includes a plurality of sub display areas. The display panel is configured to display an image based on input image data. The contrast analyzer is configured to analyze the input image data in a time division method. The contrast processor is configured to adjust contrast of the input image data based on analysis result of the contrast analyzer. The data driver is configured to generate data voltages based on output data of the contrast processor. A number of contrast analysis cores of the contrast analyzer is determined according to a number of the sub display areas and a frame rate.

The display panel includes first, second, third and fourth data lines, and first, second, third and fourth sub-pixels respectively coupled to the first, second, third and fourth data lines. The data driver includes a first output channel and a second output channel.     Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels, a plurality of gate signal lines extending in a first direction and connected to the plurality of pixels, and a plurality of data signal lines extending in a second direction and connected to the plurality of pixels. The second direction crosses the first direction. The display device further includes a fingerprint sensor configured to detect fingerprint information, and a driver integrated circuit (IC) configured to transmit a plurality of scan signals to the pixels via the gate signal lines, transmit a plurality of data signals to the pixels via the data signal lines, receive the fingerprint information from the fingerprint sensor, and encrypt the received fingerprint information. The display device further includes an application processor configured to receive the encrypted fingerprint information from the driver IC.
