Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal display further includes a first electrode disposed between the liquid crystal layer and the substrate. The liquid crystal display further includes a second electrode disposed between the liquid crystal layer and the substrate and configured to cooperate with the first substrate for generating an electric field to control molecules in the liquid crystal layer.
