    Abstract: In a display controller, a standard information acquisition unit acquires at least one of a luminance characteristic and a color gamut of a standard display panel. A luminance information storage unit of an output adjustment unit stores a measurement value of a luminance characteristic of a panel of a displaying destination. A luminance range adjustment unit gradually adjusts a luminance range for an image to be a luminance range same as that of the standard display panel. A color gamut information storage unit stores a measurement value of a color gamut of the panel of the displaying destination. A color adjustment unit adjusts a pixel value of an image on the basis of the color gamut such that the image is displayed in a color same as that on the standard display panel.

    Abstract: A state information acquisition section of an image generation apparatus acquires state information of the head of a user. An image generation section generates a display image corresponding to a visual field. A down-sampling section down-samples image data and transmits the down-sampled image data from a transmission section. A distortion correction section of a head-mounted display performs, after an up-sampling section up samples the data, correction according to aberration of the eyepiece, for each primary color and causes the resulting data to be displayed on a display section.

    Abstract: A vibration generation device 112 is provided in a head-mounted display, and as a result of processing by a content processing unit 72, a vibration controlling unit 80 causes the vibration generation device 112 to vibrate so as to correspond to display contents. A drawing unit 86 of a display image generation unit 74 acquires a measurement value of a motion sensor 64 from a measurement value acquisition unit 82 and draws an image in a field of view corresponding to the position and the posture of the user head. During a period during which the vibration generation device 112 vibrates, a vibration correction unit 88 corrects the measurement value in response to the vibration.
